neat idea!
Great Idea! I use one in my pantry for envelopes of gravy mix and such. I suggested to my DIL to use one on her pantry door for snacks for for the kids… this way it is clear and she can see how much is left and when refilling is needed.
thats a really kool idea nancy
We use one of those in our bathroom — it’s small and has no storage — excellent solution!
We have one on our door to the basement – it became our “junk drawer” when I needed that drawer in our kitchen for other things! We have one for school things too…
I use one of these on the back of our laundry room door for cleaning supplies and also on the back of our main coat closet door for mittens/hats/gloves, etc. They are WONDERFUL!!!
I do the same thing! Love it. I’ve also thought about putting these in kid’s rooms for their small things.
Love all the ideas! We use the everywhere–the kids each have one for socks & underwear, we have one in the garage for “on the go” stuff like umbrellas, sunscreen & bug spray, one on in the basement for typical junk drawer items (including batteries, a few tools, etc.).
Great idea! I use this for my bathroom stuff because I have a very small bathroom with very little storage!
SO doing this!!
I use one on each of my kids door for stuffed animals, dolls, etc. Works great! Also going to use one for the school supplies – that is a great idea.
I used one to put all my daughters Barbies on the wall right beside the barbie house. It works great and makes cleaning up so easy.
We’ve been using these for years for office/school supplies, and one in the hall closet for all those odd ball things. It made shopping for supplies really simple for back to school. It’s nice not to overbuy on those inexpensive items.
That’s such a great idea! This would make it so much easier for my kids to find what they need when they need it.
I use one on the inside of my pantry door for boxes of zip lock bags, foil, wax paper, trash bags and saran wrap. Also I have a few stuffed with the plastic grocery bags you get from the store, I try to reuse those as mush as possible!
I’m floored!!! Seriously, something SO simple as turning a shoe organizer into a “craft/school” organizer is something I would never think of!!! I can’t believe I’m not thinking outside of the box! I thought I was creative and crafty…I’m learning SO MUCH from moneysavingmom.com it’s unbelievable! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
You are so welcome!
Love this idea!! And I’ll def be trying some of the other ideas above. W have small house and storge is limited.
I used this same method to organize things that I need to put my hands on quickly in my classroom when I was a teacher! Great idea!
So funny, there is a similar idea on Zulily today, from a company called christy designs. They go for $13.99, are very cute, and I am wondering how much cheaper I can get one at the store.
I bought mine at Lowe’s for $12.50. Go with the Zulily designs!
I am a teacher and use one of these in my classroom to hold all of my office supplies.
I also have a second one on a chart stand that holds each child’s pair of headphones. It makes them easy to access and keeps cords from hanging all over the floor from their cubbies.
Great idea!
We have one on our basement door as well- it holds the usb cords to our ipod, digital camera, and extension cords, batteries, flashlights too!
