That is soo funny!

I wish we had a double coupon day around here!

Andrea August 5, 2010 at 4:39 pm

I.LOVE.IT.

I always tell my husband…”Yeah…you can do drugs. Or you can double coupon on double doubles day…it’s the same type of high.”

Personally, my best double day was recently…I got paid almost $10 an order after buying 6 boxes of Cheerios, minus the $10 in store discount, plus the double coupons. I got 4 orders, donated them all, and got 4 free milk catalinas as well. Talk about a rush! I got paid almost $40!! Huzzah!

@Andrea, Copps/Pick N Save?? I had the same deal last week at Copps – only did it once though! Great job doing it four times!

Andrea August 5, 2010 at 8:14 pm

@Emily,

Emily –

You bet! I go nutso when they do the cereal deals: I make sure I get enough for my family (there’s only 4 of us right now), plus my parents if my mom doesn’t have time to get her coupons together, for my neighbor, my brother, and then I get enough for the food pantry. I usually do at least 8-9 orders – it’s really a rush to be able to get all that food for free, plus the milk catalinas, plus the egg cats if they’re doing that, while still helping family, friends, and the food pantry. I found out that the food pantry will take the milk and eggs as well, so I don’t have to figure out how to “get rid” of all those freebie cats either. I do the same when they do the Proctor and Gamble offers – I get as much HBA stuff I can possibly get to stock my shelves as well as donate. No point in couponing if you aren’t going to do good either!

Seriously. Couponing is my drug. I may like a beer or wine in the evening, but couponing is my drug.

@Andrea, Are you in Wisconsin? I’m in central Wisconsin – south of Rapids (that’s where I went to Copps). Gotta love the GM deals – Chex cereal is all I can eat (gluten free) so I have to stock up when I can!! Heaven forbid I’d ever have to pay 3.50/box – that about gives me a heart attack!

I just moved up here, but I’m going to keep an eye out for P&G deals at Copps now – thanks!

Jill August 6, 2010 at 10:19 pm

@blue-eyes, I think it is!! That was my very first thought … because if it is, most likely she sells merchandise with that on it … I would LOVE a fridge magnet with that on it. Hmm….
