Welcome to my weekly Slow Day post, inspired by Monica from The Homespun Heart. My Word for 2018 is Slow and, in the spirit of that word, I’m taking one day each week (Wednesday) off — I’ll be unplugged and offline and plan to move at a slower pace, take time to do things that refresh me, and just really focus on being present and savoring the moment.
Each Saturday, I’ll be sharing a photographic peek into my Slow Day — and I’ll let the pictures almost 100% speak for themselves, instead of giving many explanations. Enjoy a little peek into our lives!
(It looks like I really need to clean the cover of my Discipleship Group curriculum — yikes!!)
Can you remind me what type of breadmaker you have? Thanks!
Nevermind! I missed the link to the post below. Sorry!
What was last pic?
That’s our hedgehog Quill all curled up. 🙂
Looks like a precious day with the family =]
It was a great day with family and friends — I spent the morning at Discipleship Group, Jesse and I celebrated our anniversary, and the kids enjoyed having friends over in the afternoon.
Are you not grinding wheat for flour any longer? I seem to remember a Blendtec grinder, a gift from your father.
My wheat grinder bit the dust awhile back and I haven’t yet made it a priority to replace it — even though I miss fresh-ground wheat! I’m hoping to make that happen once we move!
How did you like Darkest Hour? Hubby and I are trying to decide on a date night movie ?
Jesse LOVED it… I thought it was pretty good, not amazing, but pretty interesting.
