Why I’m Not Going to Become a Drill Sergeant About Nutrition (+ win a free Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle!)

Healthy Living Bundle Sale

As I’ve mentioned here recently, I’ve made some fairly significant changes to my eating in the last few months. And I’ve noticed such a difference in how I feel. Honestly, it’s been downright amazing to me!

Rest assured, I have no plans to become a drill sergeant about nutrition here on the blog. I fully believe in every family and individual doing what is best for their needs and situation when it comes to eating and healthy lifestyle habits. I also believe that what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another.

However, for those who want to feel better and baby step their way to better health, I want to encourage you to purchase a copy of the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle. It’s available for the next 6 days only at the low, low price of $29.97.

Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle

Over the past few weeks, I’ve gotten a sneak peek at the ebooks, e-courses, and free bonuses and have gleaned so much from what I’ve read and learned.

Now please note: There is a LOT of information in this bundle. It could feel overwhelming if you were to try to read all the ebooks, go through the ecourses, and implement all the changes the authors tell you to make.

I want to encourage you to NOT read all the ebooks. That information overload could just produce major stress and guilt.

Instead, I encourage you to look at the list of ebooks and e-courses and pick 10-15 that you feel would be highly beneficial. For instance, here are the ebooks I picked to read the last few weeks (or have read in the past and recommend — look for some book reviews on these coming in the next few days!):

There are many more ebooks that I hope to read in the future, but I’m trying to pace myself and not be overwhelmed with ideas and information.

It’s better to baby step your way along and actually make small and steady changes, than to try to overhaul your life overnight and end up stressed and burnt out.

Want to win a FREE bundle?

To help you baby step your way to better health, I’m going to give away an Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle to two readers here in the next 24 hours. Here’s how to enter to win:

1) Head over here and pick out two ebooks in the bundle that you’d love to read.

2) Then, come back here and leave a comment on this post telling me which two ebooks you’d love to read.

I’ll choose and post two winners tomorrow afternoon and will buy you each a copy of the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle!

I would like to read DIY Natural Remedies, and Repelled. I have suffered with migraines since I was 12, and our 15 year old daughter has suffered with them since age 11. We have both been told by our Neurologists and doctors to be on a daily preventative medication, but I don’t want to do that and possible cause harm to my body, and I definitely don’t want our daughter to be on a daily preventative. I did do that for several years, and decided, no more. We have both tried natural remedies for our migraines. I’m hoping that there are some ideas in the Natural Remedies book, and both of our children are highly allergic to bug bites, so the Repelled book would be a must.

    Hi,
I would love love love to read ‘The Breakfast Bread Bible’ because every morning I don’t have time to make breakfast for my whole family. It’s the same schedule everyday, get up, make myself a cup of coffee & wake up my whole family of 5. Then serve my husband a cup of coffee.

I also would love to read ‘Meal Planning Made Easy’ because I’m not the type that would plan meals ahead of time. I wasn’t raised that way, I never ever saw my mom plan meals ahead so that doesn’t mean I can learn how to plan meals for my family. Thank you so much for reading my comment.

  • Melissa says:

  • Anne Marie says:

Repelled looks interesting, seeing as my son and I are mosquito magnets, and his bites swell to practically half his leg. Also, Can I Get a Pickle Without Yellow 5, Please looks very interesting. I get migraines from Red 40, and we now try to avoid all food dyes. The history of how synthetic dyes came onto the market could be fascinating.

On a side note I was a little concerned when I read about your diet changes (not for you obviously!) and how that would impact the blog. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and Brigette’s raspberry cheesecake pie are 2 of my very favorites here and I know they are not allowed with the new diet. You also inspired me to go hunt down a bread machine so I could make my own breads- easy garlic breadsticks from here are amazing. I would still love to see recipes like that come up from time to time!

    • I’ll do my best to still provide a balance of recipes here… and we’ll see how it plays out. 🙂

    • Jennifer says:

I would love to read Grain free Meal Plans Freezer Cooking Guide because freezer cooking gluten free while maintaining flavor and texture is hard to accomplish.
I would also like to be inspired by The Nourished Kitchen Guide to Grain-Free & Dairy Free Baking. I love to bake, it is what I like to do when I need a break.
In our immediate family, we have food allergies to gluten, soy, and dairy. My oldest son at 14 just started full blown Celiac with a (hopefully temporary) problem digesting milk. I have cooked gluten free now for over 4 years, but am stuck in a horrible rut. Once my oldest son heals where he is absorbing his vitamins better through digestion, I would love to show him some more variety at the dinner table where our whole family can enjoy food and fellowship again.

  • Natalie Davies says:

I would pick the nourished metabolism and traditional remedies for everyday families:)

This is an amazing bundle that would help our family emmensly. Within the past year myself and daughter have been diagnosed with celiac disease and my son with esonophilic esophagitis. Needless to say our diets had to change immediately and radically. I went grain free, sugar free, dairy free, and the rest of the family is gluten free. We have seen dramatic health improvements in a relatively short amount of time. We are a single income family with 4 children under seven, so I struggle with finding all the time necessary to find recipes and all the prep included for our meals as long as fitting everything into our budget. Really all of the books in the special diet category would be a huge help for me. To have all that information at my fingertips rather than having to do internet searches would be amazing. The grain free freezer cooking book looks like it would help save me time and money, two major areas I could use assistance. The WEll Fed 2 cookbook is on my wish list right now. Also the homesteading books would be very helpful because I have increased my garden to help supplement for our family. Thanks for considering our family for this give away. It would be an incredible blessing.

I just tried posting, but I did not see it come up. I am sorry if this is a repeat post. This is an amazing bundle that would be a huge blessing to our family. Within the past year myself and daughter were diagnosed with celiac disease and my son with esonophilic esophagitis. These are both disease related to food allergies. We had to make radical changes in a very short time frame. I went grain free, sugar free, dairy free and the rest my family is now gluten free. We have seen dramatic changes in a relatively short amount of time. The health benefits are great but I struggle greatly with budgeting and the time involved with meal prep. Having any of thee books in the special allergies section would help greatly and would decrease my time searching for recipes on the internet. The grain free freezer meals looks like it would help with budget and time. The WEll Fed 2 is on my wish list because of the versatility of her recipes. Oh I’m very excited about this bundle, it looks like a great resource. I have been in the process of changing to healthy lifestyle changes after being diagnosed with breast cancer. This bundle would be very helpful on this new journey in my life. I am particularly excited about reading From Scratch by Shaye Elliott because it sounds like it covers the basic foods to get me started towards healthy living and a healthy body. With summer winding down and the fresh garden produce coming to an end, the 7 Day Real Food Challenge: Winter Menu by Roxanne King is of particular interest to me. The group support aspect that is available on a Facebook page is a valuable resource for someone like me in the beginning of a new journey. It seems unfair to pick only two books, but I do think you are onto something when you encouraged us to pick only 10-15 e-courses and e-books. There is a lot of information available in this bundle that could be overwhelming if not taken in slowly. 🙂

    • Please be very careful with natural hair color, such as henna, as they can alter the makeup of your hair itself, can give you allergic reactions, and some cannot completely be stripped at a salon, if a mistake is made, even by chemical removal. This goes double if you have wavy or curly hair. Just because it’s natural does not mean it’s chemical-free! Though I am not a stylist, I would recommend having your hair colored by a professional colorist, and then refreshed at home with DIY natural, sulfate-free tinted shampoos to offset of your dye between appointments.
