Yesterday, I mentioned that the same day Jesse and I ran the Tough Mudder Race, our girls also ran the Mini Mudder with Jesse’s younger brother, Jon.
Let me tell you, this kid’s race was no joke! It was a mile long and filled with many different obstacles…
It was pretty grueling and I’m so proud of them for not quitting and making it to the finish line. Kaitlynn told us at the end, “I really wanted to give up, but I didn’t let myself quit.”
Their faces show the fulfillment the experienced at the end for sticking it out, persevering, and not giving up.
That looks super fun! Kudos to you all!
That’s so awesome!
No mud run here, we are in a drought.
Wow! And barefoot? So impressive.
I didn’t know they allowed children to run this race. What a great experience for you and your children and you must have had a lot of washing to do afterwards LOL.
This was the Mini Mudder — which was a mile-long obstacle race designed for children.
I see, I missed that.
These are fantastic photos! What a great family experience.
That is very impressive! What a great way for them to learn about diligence and perseverance as they practically experience it. I’m all about that experiential learning 🙂
Fantastic! That shows wonderful determination, resilience, perseverance, and courage. They’re following their parents’ examples.
Way to go kids! I have to admit to wondering if all those muddy clothes came clean.
