Thanks for posting this! I’ve beem really wanting the taste at home magazines but not willing to pay almost $10 in store now I get a whole year for less than that.

Crystal–I’m thinking of buying some magazine subscriptions for family members for Christmas. How do you judge when the “best” deal comes out? Especially when prices seem like they are constantly changing? I’m not looking to save a ton (less than $5 for a year of Bon Appetite is pretty good), but how do I judge if this is the bed time to purchase a Christmas gift when a Black Friday sale could mean a BOGO offer? Any tips for general purchases like these?

    • I’d say that anytime you can get a magazine subscription for $5 or less per year, you’re probably getting about the best price you’re going to see — especially for a gift subscription. Every once in awhile, we’ll see $3 or $4 or even free subscriptions, but for the most part $5 per year or less is what I’d consider a great price. Certain magazine subscriptions never go that low, though.

From what I saw on this sale, I thought the prices were quite good.
