Cinemark Theaters are offering their Summer Movie Clubhouse at theaters nationwide. They will be showing 10 different family movies this summer and you can get in for just $1 per person.
Or, you can buy a pass and see all ten movies for just $5 total — making each movie $0.50.
Click through and find your nearby theater and click on that link to see what movies they are showing.
And don’t forget that Regal Cinemas are also offering $1 movies this summer, too.
Here’s a helpful site for checking the content of movies and other media, for those who are interested: http://www.pluggedin.com/
Most of the summer movies offered in our area have a lot of stuff we don’t find appropriate for children.
In the Midwest Marcus Theaters does the same thing. But it’s $2.00….if you have American Family Insurance stop by your agents office to pick up a few FREE Tickets! Check out Marcus Theaters web site for all the details. So glad they are offering more “G” rated movies this summer….last year they were all “PG” and not appropriate for our children.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a Cinemark anywhere near us. Does anyone know if AMC does something similar? We have several of their theaters within a few minutes of the house.
Pray for Oklahoma tornado victims. My family lives there and I can’t get a hold of them. Everyone needs prayer that has been impacted by the tornadoes. The devastation is unreal I have heard. I survived the OKC tornadoes in 1999 but I don’t live in that area any more.
I do this with my girls every summer. It’s a fun way to get out of the house once a week that doesn’t break the bank.
We’ve done this for the past 4 summers and it’s been so fun for my younger children. We rarely go to the theater (like once a year) and so to get to go each week is a treat. Even though they’ve seen most of the movies, there’s just something about seeing it on the big screen. Our theater offers this 2 days a week. We go on Wednesdays then have a picnic lunch and then go to the library. It makes for a fun midweek day.
Click on the location you are going, and a list of the movie titles pops up, as well as a coupon for snacks – on the one I looked at!
When you click in the theater in your area, it gives you a list of movies and dates.
If you click in the flyer and then in the city you can download the specific flyer with dates and the names of the movies. I clicked in two and they are the same: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Horton hears a who, The Smurfs, Ice Age: continental drift, Dolphin Tale, Happy feet, Oceans, Rio, Chimpanzee, and Alvin and the Chipmunks .
If you click on the movie theater, it shows a list of the movies for that location.
When you click on the link it will bring up all the theaters and you click on the one in your area. Then it lists the movies and the weekends for that theater.
You have to pick your theater from the list and the pdf flyer will have the listing and schedule of the movies they will be showing.
Each theater has the listings I believe! I just looked up our local one and it was there! Thanks for the heads up about this! FUN!!!!
It varies by State/City. If you go to the website http://www.cinemark.com and click on the Summer program link at the bottom, you can sort by your hometown. Thanks!
