I love Anne but they’re missing Anne of Windy Poplars and Anne of Ingleside and then added extra Avonlea stories to make up for it, it seems. Great price though still.

    • Kelly says:

I found the collection with Anne of Windy Poplars and Anne of Ingleside on Nook for $2.99. It didn’t have The Story Girl, The Golden Road, or Kilmeny of the Orchard though. Either collection is a great price for that many books.

    • Jennifer J says:

The missing books were written later and aren’t in the public domain like the others. Their copyrights prevent them being given away or packaged up like this for a small price.

  • Dianna says:

All these books can be found for free at These are free because they are in the public domain. The missing books were written after 1922 and are therefore still under copyright.

    • Meg says:

American copyright is stricter than the rest of the English-speaking world’s so it’s worth noting that many books that aren’t in the public domain in the U.S. are in Australia, Canada and the UK, including all of LM Montgomery’s works and all the AA Milne books. I personally use the Canadian Project Guttenberg site instead of the American one, as it has more books.

  • Amy says:

Here is a link to all of the books on audio for free from the same site.

    Have a great day!
