I love using ibotta. I try and tell my friends about it, but few will download the app to use. I think of it as free money. I plan on saving my money until Christmas and use the money to help with Christmas.

I love seeing your shopping trips and menus. I wish my kids liked more Mexican-style food because enchiladas and your lasagna sound good. 🙂

Another great weekly haul, Gretchen! These are really inspiring me to be more strategic about my shopping trips. On average, how long do you spend preparing for your shopping trips?

I love seeing Gretchen’s post! There is always something that I find that is on sale at my Kroger and I love reading about her recipes. Yum!
Chelsea says
I think I *really* need to go shopping with Gretchen!

My son loves Sour Patch candy. I have a very un-PC name for it because he gets so crazy if we let him have a little.

This has nothing to do with your current menu, but thought I’d ask. Why do my pancakes often burn & stick to the pan, but not get done in the center? This does not always happen. I always pre-heat the stainless steel pan. I’ve tried coconut oil & extra virgin olive oil. I’ve made both eggless pancakes (when out of eggs) & pancakes with eggs in the batter. A griddle is not in the budget. I’d love to know what I’m doing wrong.
LP says
Try cooking them on lower heat for longer.
K says
Thanks! I’ve been flipping impatiently before the bubbles pop too, so I’ll try being more patient on lower heat! 🙂
