$40/ month + additional fees sounds like a big expense to get started. Do you set your own FBA prices (like on ebay)? Do you write the descriptions like on ebay? I signed up for the course before & still haven’t had the chance to take it. I saved the emails. Will I still be able to take it via the emails using those emails?

Also, can you only sell new with tags items? When I checked before, you had to have special approval to sell certain categories like clothes.

Kay I’ve done a little FBA – I have an individual account which means I pay $0.99 per item (plus fees) the $40 per month is for the upgraded account and eliminates the $0.99 per item fee – so that depends on how much you want to do and what makes more sense for you business wise.
Amazon is much easier (I think) than ebay – Amazon provides the pictures and description, you put in your quantity, condition and price. You CAN make your own price but they will pull your listing and question you via email if your price is significantly higher than everyone else, and trying to be a penny below other sellers can send that items price down to nothing due to repricing tools some sellers use.
I sell new with tags items and new and used books. You have to be approved for items in: Clothing & Shoes, Health & Beauty, as well as some other categories. There are also items across all categories that may be restricted.
Don’t think of FBA as the same as ebay they are really completely different platforms with different rules and expectations. Also keep in mind that Amazon sellers ALL accept returns as per Amazon’s regulations.
