A reader emailed in yesterday:
I, like a lot of other couponers, have been having HUGE issues with Snap lately and I’m thinking it would be great if you ladies could get someone from Snap to answer some questions about the SLOW processing times, rejected receipts, money disappearing from accounts, etc. You’ve probably already heard about all the issues they are having but if not just check their FB page. -Alison
I am trying to get to the bottom of this, because I’ve not had any trouble with the Snap App personally. However, I don’t want to be promoting something if there are a bunch of issues with it or people aren’t going to get their money.
So let me know: what has your experience been with Snap? Have you had any trouble with getting your cashback?
Harold mcintyre says
Tried to open snap yesterday but was asked for login info. Never asked before. Have used snap for 7 months. Have $75 built up. Now snap tells me I don’t have an account so I guess the money is gone. Pretty easy way for them to avoid paying. Just eliminate the account. Wonder how many thousands they pocketed by doing this. Never a problem with checkout 51. Always paid promptly. Very disappointed. Will never use any groupon related app again.

19 days and im still waiting for the huggies rebate to process. What an awful company.
Robin Lynch says
I just wanted to update from my original comment. My one and only receipt from October 4th has finally been fully processed and I have the full amount I had been expeciting now in my account. I don’t believe my referral is listed correctly yet however. This app definitely went out way too fast for what they were prepared for. I am not sure if any of the current deals are worth my while yet but I am still watching just in case. I am not throwing in the towel on this app yet but they definitely have a far way to go to fix all the issues.
debbie says
Still nothing on my $17 submitted. I’ve contacted them twice through the app, but no response at all.
Diana B says
YES! I submitted a receipt with 6 packages of Huggies to get an $18 rebate but two weeks later I get a message that they couldn’t see the date on the receipt!
Jasmine Williams says
I think that’s a scam phase because I should have received $21 and that’s the same excuse they gave me!!!
Joy Prevatte says
I’ve been waiting about 2 weeks for my receipt to be approved. I also haven’t received my referral credit. I was really excited about the ease of using the app when I started but disappointed with how long I’m waiting for the money to go into my account. I like the other money saving apps much better so far.
Kim says
It took a good two weeks for my receipt to be processed.
christina Jenkins says
Submitted receipts 2 weeks ago today … still NOTHING credited to my account. :/. Called customer service on Monday, sat on hold for 30 minutes. Was told the 48 hours they state on their app is now 7 business days so said to wait until Tuesday and I should have account credited. Got email confirming our conversation and she said if I didn’t get credit by Wednesday to reply. Replied to email on Wednesday. It is now SATURDAY! No credit in my account, no response to email… Nothing.
Just waiting for my credit to get added and then I am cashing out and deleting app. It’s just not worth the frustration.
Julie says
Interestingly, as a follow up. I commented on this a couple hours ago, this morning. Just now I got an email saying my milk credit had been added to my account. Two weeks ago, when I submitted the receipt with milk, it was rejected. I did nothing about this situation, until I commented here on this blog. Suddenly it is resolved! I’m glad, but it’s still kind of creepy.
Crystal Paine says
Weird. But I’m so happy for you!
Kelley Bastian says
I, too, am having trouble with this App. I submitted a receipt (from Aldi) for $1 off a gallon of milk (who doesn’t want to save $1 off of milk?). I made sure the receipt was legible, name of store, date of purchase, items purchased, etc., and waited forever for a response. Then I finally get a response that my receipt was rejected because they could not read the date. I mean, come on!! They said I could resubmit the receipt if I wanted. By then, I had no idea where I put it! I just went shopping a couple days ago and tried the App again. If it still doesn’t work, I’m gonna delete it from my phone!
Diana B says
Same for me! I have no idea where the receipt is two full weeks later!
SWalker says
I have two receipts that have been processed, but had trouble when I purchased the Glad trash bags, the app kept rejecting my receipt. I ended up giving up, but it was worth $1.
Julie says
I waited a long time for my receipt to be processed. The smaller produce items were credited, but my milk claim was rejected. Of course, I have since thrown the receipt away and can not resend it, but I’m pretty sure the milk I bought was listed as “milk” and nothing cryptic on the receipt. I also noticed that Snap rarely adds new offers or refreshes offers like Checkout 51 does. At first I was excited about Snap, but now Checkout 51 is the clear winner between the two.
Anna says
I was extremely frustrated with the fact that from the time I left the store and got home to upload my receipt, 3 of the 5 rebates I was going to claim were “all gone.” If they are going to make a rebate app, they need to put them up for a specific period of time (like Checkout 51) or have an expiration date (like iBotta). I was cheated out of $7 in rebates in the 10 minutes it took me to get home!!!
Cara says
I also downloaded the Snap app after reading about it on your site. I received email confirmation that my receipts were being processed, but still no go a week and a half later. Thankfully I did not buy anything I would not have bought anyways. However, I have had nice success with Checkout 51 which I downloaded at the same time. So that’s also how I saved today: using a super convenient alternative to clipping coupons 🙂
Erika says
I just checked my acct after reading this post and all my credit has disappeared except for 50 cents! Very disappointed!
Rochelle says
I had the first 2 receipts go through quickly but now I have 2 pending for a while, plus, 1 I sent through the email as instructed and never received anything.
But, I’m not buying anything I wouldn’t normally so anything I get is bonus.
Stacey says
It’s taking at least a week for my receipts to be accepted and the money to be put into my “account.” Other then that, no problems here.
Heidi says
I haveused it and have not had a problem. Within 24 hours I have gotten credit for my purchases. The checkout 51 app, however, never works on my phone. I have to always upload on my laptop.
Sue says
I just started using Snaps and they just took 10 days to process my first two receipts. Also there was a problem with the first one so they subtracted the money from my account. But to their credit after I emailed them with copies of my receipts, essentially a re-entry they did re-credit my account. I never did get an explanation of the delay.
Jess says
I found one of the deals was gone when I went to snap my receipt so I started to send in the snaps before leaving the store (in case the items weren’t available when I got home). Then I could make an immediate return (since I don’t have a baby but was giving away the baby items since they were so cheap or free!)
Jess says
Also waiting over a week for receipts to be reviewed. $6 disappeared from my balance and I emailed them – the rep replied that the $6 was there, just was “processing” so deducted from the balance but not yet applied to earned funds. They promised everything should be reviewed with 7 days but it’s been longer than that. Given that it’s a new program (only a few weeks old) I’ll give them another month to get things straightened out. If it works as promised, it will be really helpful for racking up date-night funds 🙂
Christine says
My receipts wouldn’t upload and by the time I got it to work the offer was gone. I was attempting to get the huggies wipes which would have been $12.
KellyinPA says
Tried it for the first time last Saturday after reading about it on MoneySavingMom and , so far, no refund.:( It’s only been a week though so I’m not giving up yet.
L.L. says
What is Snap App?
Crystal Paine says
It’s basically a cash back app that’s new on the scene from Groupon. You can click on the links in the post to read more about it.
Jessica Claire says
I scanned in 2 receipts on October 4th. 1 was processed just 2 hours later! But the other one has still not processed through yet.
Di says
I was t aware of any issues til I saw your post, took a look at my account and it’s empty, all the money I earned over the last 2 months is gone 🙁
Crystal Paine says
Yikes!!! I’m so sorry!
Veronica says
Waiting almost 2 weeks so far for my first couple of receipts to be accepted…
Chris h says
Yes I add items to my cart went to store bought several items, including the huggies wipes and when I went to submit my receipt they were all gone. I check the app in the parking lot of the store.
kimberly says
The same thing happens to me. Its available before i walk into the store, available when i scan my receipt but all gone when i need to chose items. They are definitely NOT prompt about keeping up to date on their apps as well as processing receipts. Been three weeks and still waiting to confirm. Emailed them and they just apologized and said they were overwhelmed.
Dolly says
I have had the same problems. The first receipt I submitted over a week ago has not been processed and then $2 was suddenly gone! I actually called and spoke to a guy and this is what he told me…” Our app was mentioned on a couple of shows and we are overwhelmed with receipts. We are trying to get them processed as soon as possible. We are showing the $17 in your account(even though I see $15) and what that means is, we have already processed $2 worth of items so that is a good thing. He says eventually it will all get worked out.
I’m not holding my breath or redeeming anymore until they get caught up. Even though the wipes will be free ,if I ever get my receipts processed, that money is still tied up. I feel they should have been ready to handle the demand when they put out extremely large offers such as those.
Elizabeth says
I redeemed 2 rebates for the baby wipes which had put my total balance of unconfirmed receipts to 10.75. The next day it said my balance 5.25 and only .50 was waiting to be confirmed which means I won’t be getting credit for those wipes purchases. Not only that, but it took over a week for my first receipt to be confirmed. I just don’t want to purchase something and money disappear from my account.
Jennifer Robertson says
Yes I am having trouble as well. I signed up the first time you posted about the app, that was 2 weeks ago I believe. I submitted 3 receipts that weekend and now 2 weeks later only 1 has been processed. I’m still waiting on the other 2. I did email them over a week ago and they said with the rollout in the US it is taking longer to process but it should only be temporary. We’ll see whenever my first couple receipts ever get processed 🙁
Sabrina says
I’ve had zero problems with the app. I got credit within 3 days, which I thought very reasonable. Someone mentioned they only got credit for one item, when they bought two…I’m fairly certain the app just credits you for one purchase. I could be mistaken, but I can’t see them paying me .50 for each item.
Gina says
Pretty sure the “someone” you referred to was me. . .Some of the offers have no redemption limit, therefore you should get credit for whatever number you buy of that item.
Barbie says
Maybe if you had purchased them on seperate transactions? Only thing I can think of. I bought multiple yogurts as well but only got one rebate also.
Alison says
I have also had trouble with my receipts not processing. Its very frustrating to look at my account and see 5 receipts trying to process…….
Gina says
Took a week to get credit for my first receipt. Still waiting on the second (been a week today). And on my first receipt I only got credit for one cup of yogurt when I bought two. Didn’t seem like it was worth haggling with customer service over 50 cents, though. I’m not terribly happy with Snap so far, however, they’ve had a lot of offers on things I use and would buy anyway. So I guess I might as well keep submitting receipts and hoping for the best. Checkout 51 by far works better, but they rarely have offers I’ll use other than produce, which doesn’t amount to much.
Stephanie says
I agree. It takes weeks to get a receipt approved, but I’m going to buy bread anyway. I’ll keep doing it!
Bethany says
Yes! I just started using the app a few weeks ago and have had a lot of trouble…rejecting receipts that should have worked as well as taking as long as 2 weeks to process receipts. Also they dis not follow up with either email I sent them. I am not on social media. I thought it might just be me.
Rehana says
I submitted my receipt last Saturday got a response with 12 hours, but they are still “processing my receipt” and I haven’t heard anything since.
Cheryl says
I submitted a receipt on october 10 and it went through yesterday. I emailed them and they are having difficulty getting the receipts through. The app is new.
April says
I did a snap also and apparently after four weeks of waiting to hear back they said that the receipt was denied because they couldn’t see the date that I purchased it.and I did not save a copy of this picture which I should’ve because I know the date was on there because they’re very specific about getting everything clear on there. They suck!
Kelly says
Awful experience so far. I am still waiting on receipts from October 5th…. I think I may have to return my items soon.
Amy says
I bought some of the Huggies wipes because we use the Sams ones that got recalled. I checked while at the store to make sure I was buying the correct number of the correct wipes and they were still available. I got home and went to submit (for the first time) not 20 minutes later, and they were all gone. I don’t really like Huggies wipes that much (I was just doing it because it made them so cheap and we have to return the recalled ones) so I might return most of them and just buy Pampers instead. But it might not be worth the hassle of going back to Target with a baby!! But I’m disappointed in the app. It feels like they are tricking people into buying the products, thinking they’ll get them cheap or free, and they make it difficult (or impossible) to get paid out.
Monica S says
I have uploaded 3 receipts between Oct 6 thru 13. All of them just basic items (milk, bread, produce). Those all show pending (3 receipts pending and $4.75 in my account). Tonight I tried to upload a new receipt for candy and bertolli. The confirmation picture came up saying I had submitted $4.50 in rebates. However, my receipt amt still shows only 3 and my account balance says $4.75. I got the email saying they will process my receipt within 48 hours, but my first 3 receipts are still pending and this latest one does not even show. I tried re submitting it again. I received the same email from snap, but it still doesn’t show up.
Monica S says
Oh… and the pending items all show that I used them. The ones from tonight (that it let me upload twice) are all still showing available to me even tho they are one time use coupons. I also referred a friend who downloaded the app with my referral code and uploaded her receipt in front of me, but I did not get a referral credit.
Bridgette @ BlessingsMultiplied says
I submitted several receipts to Snap by Groupon and received the same response about being overloaded so it would take 7 plus days to process the receipts. I did get emails the last couple days saying that all of my receipts have been approved, however, when I log into my account only half of money has actually been credited to my account. I figure if they approved the amounts my account should reflect that as well. Hoping it gets fixed soon and they improve their service.
I have had a lot better luck with Checkout 51. Usually they approve and credit the account within a few minutes to hours after you submit it. The items seem to be available longer and love that they credit my account so quickly.
CK says
I just submitted a contact name to you via the “Contact Us” form on your website… didn’t want to post a name here.
Crystal Paine says
Thanks so much!
Anita says
Hi – I signed up a couple of days ago. I submitted 2 separate receipts for a total of 6 packages of Huggies wipes. Then I submitted a 3rd receipt with a gallon of milk. I got the rebate for the milk within a couple hours…but nothing at all on the others. I also referred someone who submitted a rebate & theyes haven’t gotten theirs either. Plus I haven’t gotten my referral rebate. Not cool!
Sharon H says
I downloaded the app onto my phone, and set up an account, but I am unable to access anything through the app. Every time I try to log in, it tells me that the password is incorrect. I have reset it several times, but to no avail – it will not let me into my account. I have not been able to submit any receipts yet.
Amanda says
I’ve had the app almost two weeks and have uploaded two receipts. Everything is still “pending.” Nothing has been approved. So far, I’m very disappointed with this app.
Sharon H says
I downloaded the app, and cannot use it. Every time I try to log into the app, I get an incorrect password error. I have reset it several times, but to no avail – I cannot get into the app. So, I have not been able to even submit any receipts as of yet.
m ann says
The first receipt I submitted almost 2 weeks ago and immediately got credit but since then I’ve submitted several more receipts and they’re all pending. I emailed customer service several times and never got a response until yesterday. Its the same email that some of the others have gotten. I’m very disappointed.
Reeja says
I submitted 3 receipts a week ago and I haven’t received anything yet. I emailed them today and received the generic email that many other people have posted on here.
Jen says
I too have been really disappointed with snap. Initially it was awesome. I got a bread and milk offer the first week, no problem. But then I did the Huggies wipes offer (like everyone else!) And the items on my receipt were not credited properly. (They said I had submitted for $4 when it was $17 because I also use the barilla pasta one.) I waited a day and was nervous that I’d miss the window so I resubmitted and to my surprise, all of the offers were still available to me, like I had never used them which I guess was true since my account has not been credited
I ended up submitting each rebate individually, one box of wipes at a time, even though that meant taking the same picture of my receipt over and over. It was so weird. I still haven’t been reimbursed and am really disappointed in this app. Makes me wary to use it again. :/
Em says
I submitted one receipt for $2.75 in rebates. It took over a week to process but the money is in my account now. While this is a ridiculously long waiting period, I assumed it was because of their recent launch and that they’d get a handle on it in the coming weeks. Maybe its more than that?
Elizabeth Horton says
I have had tons of trouble and hope I’m not out like $29 that they owe me. I haven’t had the issues that some have had with offers being sold out before they could upload their receipts, but I have 3 receipts pending (at least one if over 10 days old) and the $ amount that is shows is pending is completely incorrect and I think that money was showing up as pending and now isn’t, but there is no way to verify that. All you can see is how many receipts you have pending and how much $ they claim is pending (which isn’t the correct amount). There is no why to check the dates of the receipts that are pending or what offers you submitted against them. I e-mailed customer service and got that standard stock e-mail that everyone has been mentioning two days later. It is obvious by the fact that everyone has been getting the exact same email that they didn’t check on my receipts at all. Also it said to wait 7 says past the 48 hours, but when I received the e-mail it was already past that time frame. I didn’t keep track (but now know I should have) of the exact offers, amounts and dates I submitted receipts for, but I know for sure that I had $18 for (6) Huggies that is not showing up in the $ amount pending. It says I have (3) pending receipts for a total of $9.50 pending, but the huggies alone should have been $18 pending and then a couple of days ago I did $9 more for wipes and candy (before they started showing up all gone) so I should have at least $27+ pending and not the $9.50 that it shows. I wouldn’t be so concerted about the delay if the correct amount was showing up as pending, but the fact that the amount I have pending is incorrect and I’m pretty sure used to be higher has me concerned that they will not honor their offers even though I submitted my receipts for all offers before they were showing all gone or even almost all gone.
Elizabeth Horton says
I called customer service today and the hold time was only 2 minutes which was good. The representative was very friendly and did offer some insight. She said that apparently the receipts can have some items approved and some not approved yet and then that would cause your pending amount to go down, but the approved portion would not yet show up in confirmed. So the partially approved amount would be in limbo (not showing up as pending or confirmed) until the entire receipt was approved. She could not offer any time frame on how long it would take (I’ve had one receipt waiting 11 days). She also indicated that after fully being processed if I felt like I didn’t get the correct amount I could call and they would take care of it, but that they can’t edit receipts until they have been fully approved. It is still very frustrating because I cannot really check in the app what offers I submitted for each receipt so if it is incorrect I’m not sure I’ll know except on the bigger offers like Huggies that I remember
Melissa says
I submitted two receipts 7 and 6 days ago respectively. Neither has been processed yet. I submitted another one 3 days ago and my total pending was $9.50 on all three receipts. A day later my total pending dropped to $3.00 (the amount on my first two receipts). The other $6.50 that was on my third receipt was for 3 Huggies wipes and apples. The wipes are now all gone, but the apples are still available, so I’m not sure why that amount wouldn’t be pending anymore. I emailed customer service yesterday and haven’t heard anything back yet. Very disappointed. It may be one of those “too good to be true” situations… P.S. I also have had a couple of people sign up under my account and at least one of them have had rebates credited to their account but I still have not gotten a referral credit.
Suni says
I was only given a rebate for one item, not the four that I purchased.
Jacks says
I think probably if you went “crazy” when they had the unlimited redemptions a couple weeks ago (on wipes, I think?) then yes, you might be having a problem or extreme delay getting your rebates processed. I downloaded the app earlier this month, have redeemed a few basic things every week (milk, bread, produce) and have had no problems getting my money approved and added to my account quickly. Granted, I only have around $4 to show for it…but it seems if you do things on a smaller more modest scale things go through with no problem. I have highly recommended this app to quite a few people and would continue to do so!
Shelly :) says
Short answer…Yes. I submitted my first receipt on October 6th and just heard back it was denied because the date was not visible. I can contact customer support but not sure how to “resubmit” that receipt to get the credit (or if it is even worth it). I’ll see about the other three before I decide if I want to keep the app.
I recommend making sure you have EVERYTHING on the receipt scanned in (date/store/product) and that is visible and easy to read.
sara says
I submitted a receipt for the first time last week and its still pending. Not sure what to do
brandi says
It’s been 5 days since I submitted my receipt and it still states that it is pending.

nothing back yet submitted Friday – slow as a snail –
Meliss says
I waited over a week for them to process 3 receipts. They did eventually process them correctly. I submitted another one on Saturday, it is now Thursday night and I am still waiting for that $$ to hit my account. But, I do have faith that it will eventually show up.
Mary B says
I signed up for the Snap app earlier this week. My first 2 receipts were submitted yesterday and today. I’m crossing my fingers that this will work! I already have over $20 because I stocked up on baby supplies. I am very curious IF I will get a credit for my Walmart purchases. Another user commented in their app review that they weren’t credited for their Huggies diapers because the Walmart receipt only listed “diapers” and no specific brand.
Debbie says
I just started submitting receipts last Friday and have received credit for every one of them. So far a total of $3.50 but no problems at all. I think they all came through on Monday. Love it!!
Michelinne says
Hi-I have not had good luck either. I have looked at the app before going in the store, it says it’s available and then after when I go to upload my receipt, it’s all gone. I also had a receipt with $7 in offers rejected (after a week) because the date wasn’t visible. It said I could resubmit but all of the offers are gone now 🙁 I emailed them but haven’t heard a word.
Susan says
My experience so far has been okay. They do take forever to approve the recipes! And I think it is weird that they credit your account before they approve them. On one of my receipts I only got credited for one package of diapers even though I bought two (money disappeared from my account when this happened). I contacted them through the app and they fixed it. It is annoying because it isn’t as user friendly as ibotta. I say this because there isn’t an activity log that shows what you submitted, which makes it harder when you have a problem.
Joy W. says
I’ve submitted 3 or 4 receipts so far & they have been processed in less than 48 hours.
Yesterday, I was wondering if I would get the 2 rebates of $2 each on all 4 varieties of Huggies wipes (that I purchased at Wal-Mart, for $1.97 apiece) plus a 50 cent rebate on toothpaste This morning, when I checked, the receipt was processed already & the money is in my account. ($16.50) I have been very pleased with snap.
debbie says
I have $17 submitted on 2 different receipts. Both are still pending. I think I submitted on Monday of this week. I haven’t made a attempt to contact them yet. I had several friends download the app and use it, but it shows I have no referrals.
I am happy to report that I did get my full rebate from Top Cash Back on the Virgin Mobile moneymaker last week that many were having an issue with!
Amy says
I got my rebate from topcashback also! 🙂
debbie says
Yay! 🙂
Chrissy says
I have submitted $23.50 worth of receipts since Oct. 3. Only $1 has been approved and now my pending amount has dropped to $19.50. I contacted snap twice and received the exact same reply both times about how busy they are.
Cindy says
I submitted two receipts at the beginning of the month. I just received a reply today saying they were rejected bc they were not readable. The email said I could resubmit, but those offers aren’t valid anymore 🙁 and I never have issues with my receipt readability thru checkout 51.
Monique Jones says
I submitted 4 receipts 16 days ago and had my first one “appoved” today! When I emailed customer service last week I never got a reply…. but I am just trying to stay patient 🙂
Theresa says
Argh…yes, my last three receipts (span a couple of weeks) are still being processed. $17.50 worth!
Courtney says
I submitted a receipt on Monday for the 4 packs of wipes and 1 bag of candy. It totaled $17 and marked each of the 5 offers I used as “Used.” My receipt is still processing but now it says I will only be getting $16 back. I will definitely be calling/emailing their customer service if they only rebate me $16 because I did everything per their instructions.
Courtney says
Oops, sorry, 8 packs of wipes.
Michelle K says
I have yet to have my receipts approve fully. All 5 I have submitted in the last three weeks are still pending. I don’t have enough to cash in, but if I did I wouldn’t be able to since none are being approved.
Jen says
I’ve had trouble as well. I have only gotten reimbursed for one of the three receipts I have submitted, and it was not for the first item. I did contact customer service and received a similar response that it would take an extra seven days on top of the forty-eight hours. However, my first receipt was submitted almost two weeks ago. I also have not received credit for referrals. They want me to submit email addresses for those. I do feel like it’s lacking, especially when compared with Checkout 51.
Robin Lynch says
My biggest problem is I can’t get the rebates they dissappear too quickly. I realize there are limits to what they can offer but I seem to have no chance as a working Mom of two to get out and cash in on deals.
Shelly :) says
I totally agree with you and if they are gone, I wish they would delete them or put them at the bottom so I don’t have to scroll through every time to see what is new.
Loraine says
I submitted receipts last week and they are still not credited. Also I have referred several people and have not been credited with referrals.
Marlena M. says
I’ve submitted 3 receipts and got the credit within 24 hours.
Amanda Albrecht Rink says
First receipt was credited quickly but only gave me credit for one item when I bought five. I emailed customer service and was credited with 48 hours. I have a large purchase pending from a few days ago. It just seems to take too long!
Julie says
I’ve had 3 receipts pending for over a week. I received a similar email response to allow an extra 7 days for processing. Disappointing when the other apps approve receipts almost instantly.
emily m says
Here is what I can tell. The use Mturk to process their receipts (I work for them). Snap isn’t paying their workers, so people aren’t workig for them. They had 90,000 receipts that needed to be hand entered earlier today. I did work for them i days ago and haven’t been paid. Not sure what is going on.
emily m says
The ” i” was supposed to be an 8.
Crystal Paine says
Yikes! Thanks so very much for giving us this info. Keep us posted if you find out that they are, in fact, starting to pay their workers again. As it stands, I can’t promote them until they get this worked out.
I’m trying to find a direct contact with Snap. I don’t have one right now, but I’ll keep looking. Anyone else have direct contact with them who can pass along a contact?
Lydia says
There had been a number on their website earlier that I had used to call them right after they launched to ask a few questions. Maybe they took the number down?
I too have gotten cold feet about them and haven’t promoted them since my initial blog post right after they launched. I was told when I talked to them then that they have been operating in Canada for a while but just launched in the US and were overwhelmed by the response. (Which I thought was odd. Wouldn’t they expect it to be popular? Or did they not do their research and see how popular other coupon apps are in the US?)
I’m curious to see if you find anything more out!
Amy W says
Both of my receipts are still showing as pending, one was from last week he other from Monday. I also had the issue of having offers, then when I went to upload the receipt they were unavailable.

Yes, I submitted a receipt showing a purchase of 2 Huggies diapers from the last offer and was only credited with one. I have contacted them twice with no response from customer service. I am very disappointed with them so far.
Leigh says
I had the exact same issue. Both diapers were listed one after the other on the receipt. Both said “HUGGIES DIAP”. I have no idea why one credited and not the other.

When you submitted your receipt, did you change the number to 2? It will show just one and you have to hit the ” + ” to change the amount to 2
Leigh says
Yes. The email that I received from Snap noted that I had submitted for 2 rebates but was only credited for one. I’ve contacted customer service about it twice and have yet to receive a response.

I did the huggies diaper one. It took them over a week to respond to the receipt, and they rejected it even though i purchased the right thing and the offer was available when I purchased and submitted my receipt.

I have had trouble with checking the app and the product says it’s still there (it doesn’t even say almost gone) and then when I try to upload my receipt it says the product is all gone. This has happened to me several times.

I’ve had the same trouble as Chantelle with the app saying a product is there (not even almost gone) right before I go to the store & by the time I get home the coupons are no longer available.

I have been having issues as well. I submitted $17 worth of rebates several days again, and I am still waiting for it to be processed. The rebate offers are no longer available, so if for some it doesn’t process properly, then I will loss $17! Their wait time for processing is by far the slowest I’ve ever encounter, and it is making me think twice about whether they are worth using or ever recommending.
Sue says
If that happens then email them and send a copy of your receipt. This happened to me, but after I emailed them and proved my purchases with the copy I received the credit.

Thanks Sue!

I submitted a receipt last Saturday, and another one just yesterday. I still have not been credited the amount back it my account or heard anything from them, except for the confirmation they received my receipt and are processing it. Although it stated usually with 48 hours.

I just downloaded the app a few days ago. I submitted a few receipts and didn’t hear back within 48 hours. I emailed them and got this response today:
Hello,
Sorry for the delay!
Due to our recent launch in the U.S., there has been a definite delay in the processing of receipts. Sorry about that! We are currently improving the Snap by Groupon experience to make receipt processing lightning quick.
Our records show that this receipt is in review. Normally your receipts will be processed within 48 hours from submission, but because of our recent influx in submissions, please allow around 7 additional business days moving forward to receive a response in regards to your receipts. This is temporary, and we’re going to get it sorted out as quickly as possible!

^ I got this same response….
Dorcas says
I got the exact same response, and it’s been longer than 7 days now.

I got this too;( mine only gave me credit for one pack of diapers that I requested the last time . I had bought 3 packs . They said normally it’s only 48 hours but can take 7 days.
