Are you joining us for the 12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge? If so, it’s Friday and guess what that means? It’s time for our weekly check-in to post our progress.
March’s Challenge:
We’re focusing on developing the habit of drinking more water in March. I encourage you to set a simple and doable goal for drinking more water and to stick with it.

My Water Intake Goal for March
My goal for March is to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. I’m also hoping to keep up with January’s habit of doing exercising at least 4-5 times every week and February’s habit of eating six big salads every week.
This Week’s Progress:
I hit my goal of drinking 8 glasses of water each day 6 days this week — that’s a little progress over last week! Yay! I also hit my exercise goals, as well as my salad goals.

I’ve started using the ” Fly Lady method” ( scrunchies on the bottle) and it’s helping. I’m still aiming to reduce my coffee and soda intake and start getting more water instead. The week ends are still the hardest as I have a tendency of going to bed too late; and then the vicious cycle starts: too much coffee, too much sugar… Much better for fruit/ veggies though and still going strong with work outs! Good Luck everyone!!

Doing well with my exercise and water intake. I have a 0.75 liter water bottle, so I drink one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. When it comes to eating my veggies, I broke my wisdom tooth this week, so my meal plan sorta went out the window as my appetite fluctuated so much and I can’t eat anything crunchy. 🙁 I’ll be doing soups & pasta all next week.

I did 10 cups a day the entire week! And I’ve been doing better with my stretches. Now I just need to do one small exercise each day.

Unfortunately, we have all been sick, sick, sick in my house this week. I did not manage to exercise, eat much of anything, or drink enough water. But that is what happens when everyone is sick. I’m praying that next week will be better!

I’m so, so sorry you’ve been sick. 🙁

I did well on my exercising and eating my fruits and vegetables. But I missed a couple to days for getting my water in. I was really close though, 5 glasses each day instead of 6.

This week and even most of last week was a big ZERO on every challenge.
I was sick for almost 7 days (overlapped into 2 different weeks) and didn’t feel like eating anything & didn’t have the energy to exercise.
On the upside, I am now down 7 lbs from my highest weight since January. 🙂
But Monday is coming and a new week to accomplish my goals.

Hitting water goals well, often going to 10 most days. still struggling with exercise goal of 4 days a week. Got three in this week, which is improvement over past 6 weeks when only averaging 1-2 a week. Still doing well on food choices and getting more fruits and veggies at least 75 percent now each week.

I ate a salad everyday (can’t remember about the fruit, though I think I did at least 5-6 days); I didn’t exercise everyday, but I’ve been more active doing things outside (like helping Hubs lift, move, and clean out a storage shed); and I did my water goals okay. The water goals are the hardest for me so far.
Also, I’m behind in my Bible reading. I was trying to figure out what week of the year this is to help me see how behind I am, and I couldn’t find a way to do it. I got distracted and forgot about it until I saw this and went, “Oh! Week 11 check-in! That’s it!”

Yay! Go, you – hitting your goals this week! Drinking enough water every single day is a toughie, but it’s getting better in my house, too. 🙂 Good luck this week!
