This did not work. I tried 2x. It says on the coupon that the coupon value cannot be exceed the value of the item. The cashier can not override.
I tried to use this coupon at my Target. the price point was $0.97. The cashier said the coupon was for more than the $ amount of the item. I said “just over-ride the coupon for the $0.97. She said she could not. What was I to do?
That’s weird! I tried this today and the cashier just scanned it (and it took the full $1 off). Maybe ask to speak with a manager?
i tried this deal as well, they told me the same thing plus it’d be like “they were giving me 3 cents back”. usually whenever they’ve scanned 1.00 off coupons for 97 cent items, the computer has automatically made the coupon 97 cents, so i didnt get”extra” money and was able to use the coupon in the past. i dont know if their systems have changed, or with the holidays here, if they are becoming more strick in their policies. either way, i ended up voiding almost all my items because they wouldnt accept the coupons for the items, and will look for the deals elsewhere.
