Its great that u had such a great experience but u had to visit three stores. I am one that likes to hit one store and be done.

Nice to see Gretchen buying her laundry detergent.I have been using Purex for over 35 years and I find it annoying when people brag about making their own detergent as ways to save money!!

Must go through a lot though! I remember her getting at least six in a recent mega sale for less than .98 she paid here.

      • Kristie says

She’s a savvy shopper–Stocking up is the key to saving money later! And if you’ve ever found yourself running out of detergent on “one of those days,” well . . . six Purex on the shelf doesn’t sound so bad. :)

It’s nice to see you list your weekly menu so I can maybe get ideas. However, the menu is not realistic for a family of four that includes a teenage son and pre-teen daughter, who each have soccer practices 4 days a week. I wish I could find a menu plan for a family with active teenagers. Anyone with suggestions for quick, healthy menus and still stays on budget?
