If you missed last night’s webcast with Lysa TerKeurst, you can watch it here.
{And yes, you can laugh at how uncomfortable I seem at times. Remember how I’m working on stepping outside my comfort zone? Well, last night definitely was a new venture into stepping outside my comfort zone as the whole lights and cameras and ad libbing and TV monitors everywhere were a new experience… but it’s good to keep punching my fears in the face. :)}

I am only halfway through, but had to say thank you for posting this. Thefirst part about peace was the answer I had been pondering and was able to call and make some changes my family needs. Answers come from unexpected sourses! Thank you for all you do Crystal.
Crystal says
I’m so grateful you’re finding it helpful!
Tshanina @ Thrifty T's Treasures says
Cyrstal,
I just watched the replay and I think you did a fabulous job! Thanks for encouraging us to step out of our comfort zone!
Bonnie says
I thought you did a fabulous job Crystal. You didn’t seem nervious at all. I enjoyed watching the re-broadcast. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for saving my family money!
Patty says
Thoroughly enjoyed this! I’m looking forward to more in the future.
April D says
I enjoyed watching the podcast-it made for some great ‘me’ time…some great reminders of things I already knew but forget. Thanks for a ‘different’ presentation.
Jessica says
My internet isn’t the best for video watching. :-/
You were about 45 minutes from our new home town. 😉 We love NC!
Beka says
You know what? I just watched it and you had the best tips and ideas! I think you should have been the main speaker and did your own broadcast on “Summer Sanity.” You have so many great tips that are so practical! Maybe I’m biased because I’m a long-time MSM reader, but I thought you did so great!
Peggy says
Crystal, I watched the webcast and thought you were fantastic. You are not a self-promoting person, you seem confident but with humility. I was very impressed. (Don’t be so tough on yourself!)
Hannah says
I agree, your quiet confidence is very pleasant to watch! Your accomplishments and humble sharing of knowledge speak loudly for themselves 🙂 I also absolutely loved your outfit and sandals!
Angela says
Wonderful job!! What is the name of your favorite bread machine?
Crystal says
It’s a Zojirushi — and I don’t think I said it on the webcast because I was afraid I was going to pronounce it incorrectly. 🙂
Mariah says
I loved this!!! I enjoyed it a lot. I can’t wait to try the recipes, the aqua notes, and the motivated moms app. 😀
Elizabeth says
Thank you for sharing the link to the webcast. I was able to watch/listen to about 3/4 of it while I made dinner this evening and am looking forward to finishing tomorrow.
Jaime says
Lysa was savvy to include you in the webcast. Your tips were much more practical for me (and many others, I think). I thought you did a great job. At times your voice as a blogger (as I think is the case with all bloggers – due to the nature of the beast) can feel a tiny bit self-righteous. Your presence on the webcast was so humble, and I really appreciated that reminder; you are a real person! I urge you to not lose that quality as you polish your craft. You really were listening, answering impromtu questions, not quickly jumping to say the other ladies’ ideas were off-base. Lysa could not have sold that pitch to as wide of an audience without you! I hope she’ll be able to reciprocate with your endeavors.
Laura says
Agreed. I was somewhat annoyed and turned off by the other two. They seemed to enjoy hearing their own voices and being falsely “un-informed.” I am not wording this well. I didn’t think they added much to the webcast in terms of actionable steps to try.
Alas, since I have followed you for so long, I didn’t learn anything new from you, Crystal, but I imagine you acquired legions of new fans with your simple, but effective, ideas.
Can’t say I will listen to another webcast any time soon. Took too long to load and stopped forever (we are too cheap to have a fast internet connection) and then I didn’t get too much out of it. Great experiment to try though. Stepping out of my own comfort zone, lol!
Beka says
I agree, I hope you don’t lose your humbleness as you polish your craft! I think the broadcast should have been those two ladies asking you all the questions the whole time.
Jessica @ The Abundant Wife says
Great job! My older 2 kids (2 and 3 years old) and I watched the entire thing after their nap while I made dinner. There were lots of great tips in there!
Kalyn Brooke says
Thanks for posting the replay – just finished watching it while crafting. 🙂 I honestly didn’t thought you did a great job. You didn’t even look nervous!
Melody says
I thought you did great last night and was so excited for you!
Anne says
Having a scheduling conflict, I am thankful for the link to watch the re-webcast.
Crystal, I absolutely love your laugh.
Brandi says
Thank you for posting this! I was working and couldn’t make it live.
Anna T says
I honestly got more tips from you than Lysa. I felt like her loud personality would overshadow anyone, so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself. You stayed on point and gave great advice in so many areas not just for summer but for the year.
Nicole says
I agree, both those ladies have such strong personalities! I’d be overwhelmed by them, too. 🙂

Congratulations! You were amazing!

Thanks for this Crystal- I really enjoyed it and you ladies were so fun together! Quick question: You mentioned finding a local blogger for deals in your area. I have been following you for about a year now, but how would I go about finding a blogger for local deals in my area? Especially in California? Thanks so much for all that you do. You have definitely been a blessing in my life!
Crystal says
Thanks for your kind encouragement!
I didn’t have time to expound on that tip, but I’d recommend just doing a Google search with your city name and “deal blogger” “coupon match-ups” etc.
You can also see if there’s someone covering the deals for your local stores on the Store Deals section of our site:

Charlene from My Frugal Adventures is in California – I just don’t know exactly where.

OOPS! LOL I didnt mean to reply, meant to write my own comment 🙂
Jenny @ Frugal Guru Guide says
You presented yourself great! We always look the worst to ourselves. 🙂
Crystal says
Yes, we are certainly usually our own worst critics. 🙂
I received some constructive criticism from readers earlier today regarding the webcast last night, so I while I wanted to post the link to it for those who couldn’t watch it live last night, I also wanted to acknowledge that I didn’t think it was an amazing performance on my part or anything. But I want you all to be encouraged that this “stepping out of my comfort zone” isn’t something I’m just blogging about; it’s very real! 🙂
Jenny @ Frugal Guru Guide says
You have more guts than me to watch it! I just started a podcast, and I refuse to listen to it. 😛
Crystal says
I totally hear ya on that! I only recently started being brave enough to listen to my presentations so I could critique them and improve. It took me a long time and a lot of courage to do so.
Congratulations on being brave enough to do a podcast! I’m proud of you!
Nayrouz says
You were amazing Crystal. This is my first time commenting or participating on your blog.
You were my inspiration in so many things in life recently. I visit your page at least once a day. I talk about you and recommend your page for my friends. YOU HAVE SAVED MY SANITY in so many ways (especially with my Precious 2 years old twin boys). Thank you so much for all your hard work. You are a wonderful mom and wife, a beautiful woman, and a great friend :).
Crystal says
Aw, thank you so very much for your kind encouragement. Your comment blessed me so much today!
Nicole says
I think you’re really brave. And that you did your best. And at you punched fear in the face. I hope you’re proud of that accomplishment. 🙂
You’re such an encouragement, Crystal!
K.S says
I thought you did great! and I was wondering where did you get that cute black skirt you were wearing??? 🙂
Crystal says
Target. 🙂
Kris says
You did an amazing job! I even listened to the beginning since I am NOT a fashionista, lol. My only “advice” (since I am a Chiropractor:-)) is to watch your posture. You could keep your mid back much straighter, your shoulders back and stand tall and proud at what all you have accomplished!
Crystal says
You’ll be happy to know that my chiropractor actually just started working with me on that! 🙂
M.L. says
I’ve been having back pain and think that my posture has something to do with it. I think I’ll find a chiropractor! Loved watching the web cast last night & your tip on buying toilet paper on Amazon….get a big “honkin” pack of toilet paper and you never run out – HAHA! That actually was a good tip for me because I have never ordered household or grocery items from Amazon. Thanks!
Crystal says
I just recently started going to the chiropractor to help with some chronic neck pain and she is helping me so very much — in so many, many areas. I feel like I’m going to be a new woman when her treatment plan is finished. So thankful for her!
And glad you found the toilet paper tip helpful — and amusing. 😉
Kris says
That is wonderful Crystal! So glad you are having good results! All the best!
Georgia says
You looked like you really knew your stuff…you did great!

I am having trouble viewing this. When I click on the link to Lysa’s website it redirects me
and says I don’t have permission to view it. Seems like I need to purchase vimeo plus? Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

I only got to watch about half last night, so I’m really happy to see that there is a replay available! I thought you did great, and I really hated to turn it off 🙂
Hope to see more of these types of things with you in the future!
