McCormick money-maker at Walmart with coupon coming in Sunday’s paper!

There’s a great $1.75/2 McCormick coupon scheduled to be in Sunday’s RedPlum insert in the newspaper!Walmart sells the seasoning packets and gravy mixes for $0.50 to $0.58 each — giving you $0.59 to $0.75 in overage for every two packets you buy with this $1.75/2 coupon!

Per the Walmart corporate coupon policy, you can apply the coupon overage to your other groceries.

Thanks, The Wally World Woman!

I’m just curious, does anyone know when Walmart stopped giving cash back? I know for a while they were giving the overage back in cash. I hadn’t heard of any changes in policy.

You’re right! I just went and double-checked the policy and it does say you can get change back. Personally, I try to avoid getting cash back as I think it raises unnecessary red flags. But if your Walmart is cool with it, then I say go for it!

Crystal, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I am always amazed at how much you accomplish!! Thanks for all you do. I agree about getting cash back causing red flags at the register. And honestly, our Walmarts are not close to our home, so if I’m going to make the trip, I want to make it worthwhile by picking up everything I need. But I do appreciate knowing the policy, you just never know what scenerio might come up. Thanks again.

Not in South Florida, anyway. The McCormick packets are usually $0.99 down here. Still. That’s not a bad deal. And my hubby refuses to use any other taco seasoning. (Believe me, I’ve tried!) It’s just one of those things my family has to get that’s brand-specific.
