I just bought Quinoa last week at the store and forgot about it when I did this weeks menu. That recipe sounds great. That may make it in next week.
The crock pot cake looks amazing!!! It’s been so hot recently, that would be the perfect dessert recipe!
Here’s our menu including my new favorite lunch food!

I wanted to request some help. I have been put on a diet where I can only have 20 grams of carbs a day. I am at a loss for a menu and recipes. I would love to try to make homemade products but have to also keep it within my budget of $50/week for 3 people. Is this doable?–such a challenge! Thanks for all your help
Omlettes for any meal, salads for lunch with homemade dressings that are mostly vinegar and oil, or lemon juice,
Rosemary White Bean Soup would be a good lunch or dinner http://theprudenthomemaker.com/index.php/rosemary-white-bean-soup
Caprese salad is another one of our favorites

Oh my I have totally seen that mug cake floating around on Pinterest but I am too scared to try it I’m afraid that one mug could turn into 4 or 5 mugs!! I am going to try to be somewhat “healthy” and stick to the Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread that is in our menu plan for the week

Was wondering if you had tasted the oatmeal packets yet? Were they just as good? Wondering because my kids love oatmeal, I tried the slow cooker oatmeal and it was a huge flop. So I thought I would try this. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
I’ve not made that particular recipe yet, but I plan to blog about it when I do.
We’re having beans this week!

Yes, after extensive allergy testing, we are so grateful to have gotten to the root of some of the issues here and to be seeing major, major progress. We are so thankful!
