There’s our gluten free menu plan for the week. I’m finally getting over morning sickness (thank goodness!), so I feel like cooking (and eating) again. Hopefully this feeling good thing continues!

That reese peanut butter cup oatmeal is a great recipe, we love it too!
I’m going to add the avocado and egg salad to our menu for next week. That looks yummy.
I normally write out our whole menu each week, but this week I wrote a dinner menu and grocery list instead. 🙂

Crystal, have you ever made the Crockpot Scalloped Potatoes without the sherry listed in the recipe? Just curious!
Crystal says
I’ve never made them before; it’s a new recipe to me. I’ll be leaving the sherry out and I think they’ll turn out just fine — I hope!

I have been trying to shop minimally these last few weeks. So I feel like I have the most boring menu plan in the world. But it’s healthy and delicious food so that’s all that matters.

Our monthly trip to the grocery store is planned for Wednesday of this week. I have Quinoa on the list. I really want to try / experiment with it. I plan on adding the No Bake Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies to my cooking day this weekend as well as some crockpot bread. I’ve been browsing the web looking at different recipes for crockpot bread.
Here’s my menu plan.

I’ll be working on a menu today as I normally do my shopping on Wednesday. That’s when most of the stores around here start their new ads. Your menu looks great with lot’s of variety & yet healthy as well. I try to do the same adding occasional treats for my husband & the kiddos. My family LOVES those No Bake Energy Bites & thank you Crystal so much for linking up to them in the past. I haven’t made them in awhile, it seems like they disappear so quickly! Hope you & the family have a lovely day. Please stop by my blog when you get a chance, I love visitors! Ivy Jane

P.S. I am able to see the Publix (where I mainly shop) ad on Monday instead of waiting on Wednesday by going to I Heart Publix. She matches up the deals with coupons & I am so thankful for the early preview.

May I just say that I am jealous (not in a sinful sort of way :-)) that you live close enough to have these wonderful extended family dinners? You are very aware of God’s blessings in your life so I’m sure you don’t take it for granted!
Crystal says
That was one of main reasons we moved back here — so we could be close to family. We don’t know how long God will have us here, but we’re trying to appreciate and soak up the opportunities He has for us here.

I am trying more crockpot meals this week. The library had a cookbook called, “Make it fast, cook it slow”. The website/blog that goes with it is crockpot365.blogspot.com She has put together a great collection. So far we have tried two of them, but I hope to do more. Especially some of the desserts and drinks. Really looking foward to getting past roast recipes.
Otherwise, I am trying to do as little shopping as possible. I will have to pick up a few things, but most items I have here at home.

Do your p.b. and J’s get dry after being in the freezer?
Crystal says
No, we never had issues with them getting dry. However, we usually keep our sandwich bread in the freezer anyway since I buy it in bulk and freeze it.
