My real-life friend, Natalie, wrote a memoir of her homeschooling experiences called Pajama School and it’s available as a free download on Amazon today.
I really enjoyed reading this book–especially since I know or am acquainted with so many of the people in the book as Natalie and I grew up in the same area. In fact, not only did Natalie and I grow up in the same area, but we also worked together as waitresses at the same tea room for a few years!
Natalie has been a blessing and inspiration to me over the years and I’m so impressed with everything she’s done with her life–including self-publishing this beautifully-laid-out book.
To read more of Natalie’s writings, you can visit her blogs, Pajama School and Music Matters.

Thank you for sharing these free Kindle books! I really need to start reading some of them. I don’t have a Kindle, but I do have the Kindle program for my PC. How are you reading your Kindle books?
I actually don’t read many ebooks since I don’t have an e-reader and dislike reading books on the computer. I typically just read hard copies (yes, I’m old fashioned like that!
)
LOL! I love books too! Not really sure if I could ever make the transition to an e-reader…
Thanks so much, Crystal and Natalie!!
Cool, thanks! I am a private piano teacher and follow Natalie’s piano blog. I get lots of good ideas from it!
Definitely downloading this since! Thanks!
I’ve been following Natalie’s Music Matters blog for, like, ever, and yours too. I never knew ya’ll knew each other. Thanks for the heads up on the ebook; I’ve had my eye on that one for a while.
Thank you SOOOO much for sharing this book. I love Natalie’s story and could relate as I am also from Wichita (now re-homed in Texas). It was great to relate to all the local references.
Just saw this, and it now Saturday morning and its no longer free. Sorry to have missed it I have heard of the title before and it peaked my interest then.
