Hi Crystal, Just wondering if this is a legit and reliable company? Don’t want to put all of my info in if I don’t really know about them. Thanks

Crystal January 16, 2012 at 10:54 am

Yes, it’s very well known and reliable.

thank you :)

Is this a reputable site?

Erin January 16, 2012 at 11:29 am

its saying 10 for 20

Catina January 16, 2012 at 11:31 am

It states that the credit cannot be used on this offer so you would pay $10 for $20….you might want to point that out to avoid your followers from purchasing if they think they are getting it for $5. (in the fine print) Not a bad deal though! :) P.S. LOVE your site!

It told me that I couldn’t use my $5 credit wouldn’t be available until after my first purchase.

Sandra January 16, 2012 at 11:38 am

The $5 credit for signing up can’t be used on this deal. It’s in the fine print under that deal :( Boo. Still a good deal though!

I got the deal for $5 soon after it was posted. However, I can’t use the voucher until the deal ends on Friday. They said they would send me the code after the deal ends that day and charge my card at that time.

Jen January 16, 2012 at 12:00 pm

That’s odd. It took my $5 sign-on bonus right off the cost. This is what my email says:

Thank you for your purchase. Your credit card (MasterCard ending in ****) will be charged within 24 hours of the deal ending (Friday, January 20). At that time you will receive another email with a link to print your voucher(s) and instructions on how to redeem.

Offer: $10 for $20 to Spend on Overstock.com
Price: $10.00
Quantity: 1 voucher
Credits Used: $5.00
Total Charged: $5.00

I went to do this deal and the fine print does read ” Credits cannot be used for this offer.” Too bad.

Jessica January 16, 2012 at 12:43 pm

It let me use my $5 credit, only paid $5 for the voucher…

Jessica January 21, 2012 at 4:27 pm

NOPE, got an email saying I can not use credit. Now the deal has closed and I have no voucher code. Looking on the FB page for the TIPPR Co. there are several complaints. Wish I didn’t buy this voucher…hope it goes through. One person said they have been charged multiple times and can’t get a credit back!

Does anyone know what items can be bought with it on Overstock? I don’t quite understand the fine print on Tippr…

“Offer excludes orders comprising products from Books, Music, Movies, Games, and Electronics categories, as well as items within the Cars, Travel, Insurance, and Gold Redemption categories”

I’m mainly interested in most of the categories listed there. Thoughts?

Also note in the fine print that quite a few things are excluded on overstock.com from being purchased with this voucher. I was going to buy it, but after I saw all the exclusions I decided not to.

Meagan January 16, 2012 at 2:53 pm

Earlier today I went on and it didn’t have that “credits cannot be used on this offer” caveat. I think they changed it after some of us bought it.

I bought this and it worked just fine with the credit, so yes, it is only $5.oo.

Kristie January 16, 2012 at 5:59 pm

Not working for $5. This is the e-mail I just received- “I apologize for any confusion, however credits cannot be used towards this particular deal.”

Michelle January 16, 2012 at 10:55 pm

I wasn’t able to use the $5 credit. My e-mail confirmation showed the charge as $10.

BBB says there were 12 complaints filed against the company Tippr.com for all sorts of reasons…
