I have ordered the grab bag before. The last time I paid $25. I would say it’s kind of worth the money, especially if you really like Burt’s Bees. I’ll definitely purchase them for $15! They’re great for putting in the gift closet!
I have ordered these several times. I LOVE THEM! Well worth the money.
They are worth the money – each bag has a lot of nice products for a discounted price.
I love burt’s, and this is a good price. I have ordered these in the past for christmas/birthday gifts.
The sight is down:(
I managed to get there and after repeated errors, was able to read reviews and add it to my cart. Upon checkout, I got a message that says the store is currently down. Wonder if your post caused a “slam” to the site?!
The store is still down. I guess you sent quite a bit of traffic to them!
This is a great deal! I ordered one of these before Christmas. Their site is down at the moment. Hopefully I can get an order in before it’s too late!
I ordered one this past Christmas—if you require sensitive skin make up stuffs, it’s def worth it. If frugality is more imortant to you, then this isn’t the Deal for you. Lots of anti-aging stuff that was like 0.5 ounces, but also several delectible versions of their tinted lip balm….
This does NOT contain 5 full sized products- I just called their customer service.
I ordered these last year. I wasn’t too impressed. I guess it just depends on what grab bag you get. Mine had a bottle of handsoap, sunscreen, after sun care lotion, and body lotion. (I never used the sunscreen, I was too nervous since there were no “expiration dates”.) There was some chapstick/gloss and a few tiny soap bars. Nothing impressive. I had wanted to use some for stocking stuffers etc, but by the time Christmas rolled around I was afraid to give stuff away that had been in storage for almost a year.
The only items required by federal law to be labeled for expiration are infant formula and some baby foods; some states also mandate pulling dairy from store shelves on the expiration date.
A 1987 NJ state law required all food products sold there to display an expiration date of two years or less from the date of manufacture. So, rather than send a separate product to NJ than to the rest of the country, most manufacturer’s just use 2 years as a standard for expiration. Some items, like sunscreen, will lose their potency after a year – it’s best to buy fresh.
Unless a product has a rancid smell, has separated or changed consistency, it’s fine to use.
This would be a nice deal, especially for Christx (don’t see why people take Christ outta Christmas…) Hopefully, the site will be ‘bee’ free so I can order this!! Still running really really slow with error messages popping up…must still be getting hit pretty hard! Thanks for sharing, though.
I like that! Christx!
I ordered two of these before Christmas. Mine had a very large Milk & Honey lotion, a very large fragrance free body cream, a dual tinted lip balm gift package, a single tinted lip balm, a pink lip gloss, a regular lip balm, several small samples, a washcloth and a lip balm case.
I ordered two and they were both the same.
I can’t find them:(
They now say sold out. I bought one before Christmas and would like to get more so I hope they restock.
Christine,
The site has been down and back up. I managed to order in the middle of the night, but it was so slow, I could never get the coupon code to Apply. The grab bags are in the “Outlet” section.
An update — I don’t know what’s left at the site, but I got some other goodies from the outlet besides the one grab bag I bought. I sent an email to Burt’s telling them of the trouble I’d had and the inability to use the promo code. They just sent me a very nice email, empathizing and telling me they were crediting me back $5 on my card.
