I hope I am not out of line but since you are giving away tickets to my dream conference, I could not find any official rules and wondered how many times you can enter?

You can only sign up once per person (the form won’t let you sign up more than once). However, you are welcome to have your family members or friends sign up to give you more chances of winning.

Thank you Crystal! What a great opportunity.

It’s amazing to see this post the day after I’ve been making off-island phone calls to book our own book signing events. I have been working on several books and one we’re working on together that we plan on using as a ministry opportunity so if the numbers are low it’s okay: it answers many questions we get bombarded about our skills and lives.

I have a “how to” book I have been working on for many years now in the subject matter of speech communication and how the Lord blessed with many big speech awards. The proposal might be a good one to use for this contest. We’ll see. :-)

When I was preparing meals in advanced and motivated to write at four in the morning and during quiet hours in the afternoon I had no idea that you were doing similar book churning around the same time! A lot of my friends were asking how I found the time to write and homeschool five little ones at the same time while making family a priority. Your wonderful posts were very similar to mine, limiting personal distractions and time wasters.

I haven’t ever had a facebook account among other social networking tools but always tell people that “we may” one day if it will help any of our businesses. Your tips on refraining from things like that (and what parts of it) for a season I’m sure blessed so many.

Keep up the great and informative posts!

This would be a wonderful opportunity for an experienced writer or someone looking to get into the industry. I am happy for whoever is blessed with winning. Whomever doesn’t win, never stop believing in yourself. Your chance will come.

Writing is not my “thing” but I just wanted to thank you for giving someone an opportunity to pursue their dream!

  • Jennifer December 06, 2011 at 09:31 pm

Thank you for this giveaway! You may have provided me with the impetus to get off of my butt and do this. I have all of these great ideas and bits of manuscripts lying around so I can get started on this right away.

I got divorced about ten years ago. My ex-husband published a website mocking all of my fiction that I wrote as a teenager. I didn’t know that he had the box with all of those manuscripts. I lost valuable pieces of writing when he threw it all away. It killed my desire to write. Hopefully I can get it back now.

This would be super cool to win. I have written a few things and have even more ideas but feel rather discourage in this difficult industry. Whoever wins is going to be very blessed. :)
