by Crystal on June 1, 2010

I stopped by Target today and was able to get some great deals:

5 lbs. of strawberries — $0.99 per lb.

1 carton of blueberries — $1.99

1 carton of Dannon yogurt — on sale for $1.67

2 SoBe Lifewaters (20 oz.) at $1 each — used 2 $0.50/1 printable (some Target stores will allow you to use more than one of these coupons; it’s up to their discretion since it’s a store coupon) — $0.50 each after coupons

2 GE Reveal Light Bulbs (4-pack) – on sale for $2 per pack  — used $1/1 printable (no longer available), stacked with $1/1 Target printable — Free after coupons!

1 Wish-Bone Dressing (16 oz.) — price cut to $1.49 through 6/12 — $0.75/1 Wish-bone Target coupon from 4/25 insert — $0.75 after coupon (should have used $0.50/1 Wishbone coupon (IE) (FF Link) but I somehow didn’t get that one printed!)

2 Eggo Waffles – price cut to $1.75 used $1/1 printable — $0.75 each after coupon

2 Shout Stain Remover — regularly priced at $1.97 — used $0.55/1 from 5/2 SmartSource insert (there were $0.55/1 peelie coupons on all the bottles at our store, too), stacked with $1/1 Target Printable — $0.42 each after coupons (Make sure and see this post for an even better deal!)

2 Dannon Activia yogurt (4 pack) – on sale for $1.67 — use $1/1 printable here (IE) or here (FF) — $0.67 each after coupons

5 Fiber One Cereal/Bars – on sale for $2.50 each, used 4 $0.75/1 printables and 1 $0.40/1 printable , got a $5 Target gift card — $0.82 each after coupons and gift card

1 Bic pens — $0.99 — used $1/1 coupon — free after coupon

2 Carefree liners — $0.94 — used $1/1 coupons — free after coupons

1 Nexcare (20 ct.) Strawberry Shortcake Bandages — $1.87 — used $0.50/1 Target coupon, stacked with $1/1 Nexcare printable — $0.37 after coupon

1 Band-Aid (25-count) — $1.69 — Used $0.75/1 Target coupon, stacked with $0.50/1 manufacturer’s coupon — $0.44 after coupon

1 Motrin PM — $3.99 — used $3/1 coupon — $0.99 after coupon

2 Armor All — $2.49 each, used $2/1 manufacturer’s coupon — $0.49 after coupons

After coupons and a $5 gift card I’d earned from my last Target trip, I spent $22.07 out of pocket and earned a $5 gift card back which I’ll use on my next transaction.

Sobe lifewater also has a coupon out, b1g1, making them .25ea!

Crystal June 2, 2010 at 4:38 am

Yes — unfortunately I had already printed it and couldn’t print it again! :(

Wow! What great deals! You’re an awesome shopper. I am still a novice at the coupon tracking and cutting. The stackable ones are great!

FYI The GE Reveal light bulbs are not printing anymore. :(

karalyn beaudion June 2, 2010 at 6:21 am

Always love your shopping trips… thanks for sharing! :)

I have a catalina that printed at Kroger for Sobe Lifewater that says “Redeem only at Kroger” on it, but it is a manufacturer’s coupon. Can I stack this with the Target Sobe Q, or will Target deny it as a Kroger coupon?

99c a lb for strawberrys? Buy did you get a great deal. Our Tagets are just getting ready to open their grocery section. It seems like I may have to do a lot of my grocery shopping there, since we are hundreds of miles from the nearest PUBLIX.
Thanks for the info.

Sounds like our Target shopping trip on Monday. Purchased $89.95 worth of merchandise. After coupons our total was $43.19. We also received a $5 gift card, and will be receiving a $6 rebate. In the end the final Out of Pocket will be $32.19.

We owe a lot to your website. Thanks!!

I loved those Nexcare and Bandaid deals…they come out every few months so I never have to pay much for bandaids! I also used the two $1/1 Vaseline lotion coupons (mf & Target) to get a bottle of lotion for 99 cents (not free, but I needed some and it’s the only lotion I love!). The OM hot dog deal was pretty good too (Target cpn was B3G1, combined with $1/2 mf cpn & 1Free cpn from Kraft summer pack), I think it came out to $4.08 f0r 4 packs of all beef hot dogs.

Our Target this morning had the cereal with $1.00 stickies on them making the cereal an even better deal!! Thanks!!

Wow! You did a great job saving some moola :-)

Olathe Mom June 2, 2010 at 10:03 am

What coupons did you use for the two cute, smiling girls in the background? Were they a BOGO? :)

Nicole June 2, 2010 at 12:17 pm

@Olathe Mom, too cute :)

Nicole June 2, 2010 at 12:17 pm

33.49 today prior to sales and coupons, 13.76 after :)

Andrea June 2, 2010 at 2:37 pm

I was able to get Dove deo, nexcare bandaids, and shout over the last few weeks…YEAH!!
Does your target stick to the 1 coupon per transaction?? Mine does, and am only able to get 1 Target deal per “visit.” Because of that rule, I don’t shop there as much as I used too. It is too much of a hassle, especially when I am lugging a 2 year old around in 96 degree heat!!

Cristina June 2, 2010 at 6:47 pm

I did 4 transactions at target on memorial day for a total of just about $15 oop, still have a $5 gc and bought:
- 3 olay facial wash
- 1 olay toner
- 12 smart ones entrees
- 4 fiber one yogurt 4-packs
- 1 fiber one granola bar box
- 1 homestyle mac and cheese (free coupon)
They wouldn’t accept my printables for listerine which would have been free so I didn’t get those. That’s ok because the rest was awesome!!

Cristina June 2, 2010 at 10:56 pm

@Cristina, I just realized I miscalculated!! I actually spent $9.5 and got a $5 CG!! My $3/6 smart ones wasn’t scanning and they had to enter manually and I just noticed they entered $6 instead of $3!!! I originally added one purchase price without counting I used a $5 gc to help pay for it!

RuthS June 2, 2010 at 8:33 pm

Thanks for the matchups, I got some of these great deals tonight!

Sharla June 2, 2010 at 9:23 pm

I saved $10.80 and only spent 82 cents for the following (35 cents plus sales tax):
Shout stain remover
2 Armor All auto glass cleaner
Listerine
Nexcare bandaids – Strawberry Shortcake

Julie June 2, 2010 at 11:02 pm

are the coupons from the Target links store coupons or manf. coupons? I thought they said manf. coupon when I printed a couple earlier. will Target stack these with manf. coupons? going in the morning, just trying to figure it out!

Stephanie June 3, 2010 at 10:34 am

I have a question about the Shout Stain Remover. Was this a marked down price? Because I don’t see it in the advertised ad, and my store didn’t have them priced at $1.97. They were $2.49, which just didn’t make it as good of a deal! Thanks!

Julie June 3, 2010 at 3:48 pm

Just got back from Target…was able to get the deals on Shout and Armor All (going to use for a father’s day basket for my husband). I also used my $4 off Nivea body wash coupon to get free body wash since they had for only $3.99. Thanks for posting the great deals!
