I went to Dillon’s yesterday and picked up some great bargains:

Got our Milano cookies too. Saving them as treats when the in-laws are here this weekend. Also got the lemonades. The strawberry is soooo delicious.

I am wondering where you got the milano coupons, those are also my favorite! I hope I didn’t miss them somewhere…..
Crystal says
They were in an insert, though I’m not sure which as I’d clipped them out!
gina says
I’m confused as to how the milano cookies were 99 cents a box. did they have double coupon day?
Crystal says
They were on sale for $1.99, and I had $0.50/1 coupons that doubled to $1 off.

I’m pretty new to couponing. I’m currently deciding on what method I want to use for organizing the coupons. I’m sure it will be some envelope method. My question is: when you have a lot of coupons, how do you keep up with expiration dates and using the coupons before they expire?
Danielle says
Wow, how in the world did you get those Tony’s coupons? That’s awesome!
Crystal says
They sent me some because I did a giveaway with them last week. I gave the rest of mine away, otherwise, I’d offer to mail you some.
Vicky says
Crystal, Savingstar is giving 1.00 back on the tony pizzas, I’m not sure what store it would be in your area but nice deal.
Crystal says
Thanks for letting me know!
RuthS says
I spy your favorite cookies 😉
Crystal says
Yes, I did a big happy dance. 🙂
Blaire Ruch says
that was my first thought too! bon appetit!

Is there another source for the Santa Cruz mq? It was stated you could only use one fprinted from the link. I only printed one, although I had the option to do more. I hope there is another source so I can stock up. Thanks.
Crystal says
You can register multiple family members or ask other friends/family to print one for you, too.

Great savings! Crystal, do you participate in Upromise? You probably know this already but you can often get bonus cash for just for activating their free eCoupons (you don’t even need to print them out).
For example, in April 2011 if you bought Sister Schubert’s rolls you would get a bonus $0.35 in your Upromise account which you can split between all your kids. A lot of the products I purchase regularly with our grocery cash gives us bonus Upromise money.
I don’t recommend this as the only way to save for college but it helps families put a little extra aside with items they purchase already. 🙂

I live in Chicago and I’ve been finding great deals. You just have to look for them. I look at about six different blogs and not all have the same tips.
Alisha says
I see that your bottles aren’t all lemonades. Were the other juices on sale as well?
Crystal says
They were all lemonade, just different flavors. Two were Strawberry Lemonade and one was Mango Lemonade.
Charissa says
Is it okay for me to ask how you got 4 of these Santa Cruz coupons? I believe when I did it it was only 1 print.
Crystal says
I just went back to double-check and there is a limit of one coupon per registration, but you can register multiple family members.
Moriah Lazik says
how did you get the tony’s coupon
? 🙂 great deals on everything!!!!
Crystal says
They sent me some because I did a giveaway with them last week. I have a few extras, email me your address (moneysavingmom @ gmail.com) and I’ll send you a couple!

Gosh wish I knew about couponing (how much you could really save) and knew about this site before I graduated from the University of Kansas. Now having moved back to Chicago deals don’t seem as great, but I’m learning a lot from this site.
Allison V. says
Keep at it, it’s worth it! You’ll find what works well and it can make a big difference!
April says
Amanda, do you know about a few great couponing websites based in Chicago? Check out Jillcataldo.com and Mashupmom.com. Those two of my favorite sites. We have great bargains in Chicago and, honestly, I think they are better, but taxes are higher.
