Strawberry Lemonade Simple Syrup
1cupwater
1 cuphoney or sugar
2 Tbspstrawberry lemonade tealoose leaf
Individual Glass of Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
8ozSparkling water
2TbspStrawberry Lemonade Simple Syrup(add more as desired, up to 1/4 cup)
Instructions
Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the 1 cup of water and 1 cup of honey (or sugar) and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
Turn off the heat and add the Strawberry Lemonade flavoring. Stir well.
Let the mixture steep for 15–20 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Strain the syrup using a fine mesh sieve or small strainer to remove the loose leaf tea bits.
Store in a glass jar or bottle in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Making a Glass of Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
Fill an 8-ounce glass with ice.
Add approximately 2 tablespoons to a 1/4 cup of the syrup (depending upon how sweet you’d like it)
Top with sparkling water (about 6–8 ounces, depending on the glass)
