You'll love this gooey and delicious - but less messy! - alternative to campfire s'mores!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (I do this with a plastic freezer bag and rolling pin.)
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans (or other nuts, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9×13 pan.
  • Put the graham crackers in a plastic freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin to make graham cracker crumbs.
  • With a hand mixer, beat together softened butter and brown sugar.
  • Mix in flour and graham cracker crumbs until combined.
  • Firmly press the crust mixture into the greased 9×13 pan.
  • Sprinkle evenly with marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  • Bake 15-20 min at 375 degrees.
  • Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars. (I stick the cooled bars in the fridge for 30-60 minutes before cutting them. I always cut them with a plastic knife, because it makes the cleanest cuts).
