Easy Homemade Garlic Bread

Ingredients  

  • 16 inch loaf french bread
  • 1/2 cup butter slightly melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

Instructions

  • Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.
  • Thickly slice bread into 1-1/2-inch slices.
  • In a medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients together.
  • Brush butter mixture evenly on both sides of bread.
  • Lay bread flat on foil-lined cookie sheets and freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • Peel bread off of foil, place in freezer bags, and freeze for up to 3 months.

To Bake Garlic Bread:

  • Preheat oven to 400º F.
  • Place slice(s) of frozen bread on cookie sheet(s), and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown in color.
  • Serve immediately.
