In a large bowl, combine 2 1/2 c flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
In a smaller bowl, combine warm water and oil. Add to flour mixture and stir well.
Knead on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes, adding more flour if needed.
Cover, and let rise in a greased bowl in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450º F.
After the dough is risen, press it into a 12-inch greased pizza pan (I use an ungreased pizza stone).
Brush with salad dressing (you can also brush with olive oil and use a little extra extra garlic salt if you don’t like Italian dressing) and sprinkle with spices and cheeses.
Bake at 450ºF for 15 minutes.
