Oven fried chicken is a healthier alternative to fried chicken -- with the same deliciously crunchy crust and tender juicy chicken!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken pieces rinsed and patted dry
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  • Melt butter in a shallow baking dish or bowl.
  • In another bowl, mix together flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Dip chicken pieces in melted butter.
  • Then dip them into the flour mixture.
  • Place coated chicken pieces in a single layer on a greased shallow baking pan (skin side down – if you’ve left the skin on).
  • Bake at 400º for 30 minutes.
  • Flip chicken pieces over and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Eat and enjoy!
