We had a Fresh Thyme open near our home in IL and we LOVED it! Their sales were amazing – and I always planned to go on the day that their sales overlapped. Some things were more pricey but I felt that overall I was able to come out around the same total as Aldi with more organic/less processed food. We moved away from IL and we definitely miss our Fresh Thyme store.

Sounds interesting. Their website says we should be having some locations opening up around here this year. Will have to check them out.

Fresh Thyme has opened 3 stores in the Indianapolis market. They have both organic and conventional produce, and a great variety of grocery goods, many of which are organic. I’ve had one quality issue, raspberries that were tasting “fermented”
But it’s generally head and shoulders above aldi, in produce variety, and in sale prices. Kale & Spinach were on sale last week for .99. This week red and green seedless grapes are .88.
But their pineapples are 2/$4 and I think I saw them at Kroger for .88
So I make the trip to Fresh Thyme once a week, typically on Thursday when the two ads overlap.
And Lo! I just got an email from Fresh Thyme for a $5 discount on a minimum purchase this weekend.

We live close to the Fresh Thyme that opened here last year in Greenwood. They had AMAZING sale prices the first few weeks, especially on boneless chicken and ground beef. People were lined up through the store waiting for the butcher to bring out more trays of meat. After that, I haven’t really been back. Mainly because I always do much better buying from Aldi, which is closer to our home. I can get just as good of quality for a bit cheaper in my opinion.
I will definitely still shop at FT on their loss leaders, produce; but their regular grocery sections featured mainly all organic goods with very high prices. As someone else mentioned, it’s not a one stop shop. I think they are best for meats and produce.

No Fresh Thyme near us, but we have Aldi.

These are not organic produce from what I read on her site (only a few). Aldis has most of these items for similar pricing.

Fresh Thyme has fantastic prices. Right now the nearest one is 20 minutes away, but the are currently building one on the way to my sons swim practice. I can’t wait! Some of their prices are as good if not better than Aldi.

Fresh Thyme is awesome! I work right across the street from one and everyone I know loves it!

One opened up 8 minutes away…from my old apartment. : ( It’s 30 from my new place, but I go up that way some and am hoping to stop in soon.

Lucky you! I wish we had a store like Fresh Thyme in the Baltimore-Washington area. All of our “natural food” stores are rather pricy. We have Whole Foods and several independant stores, but they are all more expensive than the regular grocer for fresh produce.

Love our Fresh Thyme! Great produce prices and their housemade sausages are fantastic. I’ve also been very happy with their fresh seafood.

Fresh Thyme opened where I live over the summer. It’s definitely not a one stop shop and some of their prices are high. However, their produce prices are amazing and the quality is almost always there! I save so much and we are eating much more produce than ever.
