The Catalina is just an offer from the manufacturer of Scrubbing Bubbles. Basically by buying two items, the manufacturer gives you a coupon for $2.00 off your next order at Walgreens. You don’t have to do anything to get it. If you buy two participating items, it will automatically print out when you get your receipt.

The Checkout 51 offer is only offered to “a subset” of Checkout 51 subscribers. When I opened a new account with them, specifically for this offer, the Scrubbing Bubbles offer did not appear in the list of offers presented to my account. I submitted the receipt anyway and questioned why I didn’t receive the $4 credit. Their customer service rep said that even though the offer appears on their website when you do NOT log in, you will get credit only for those offers appearing when you log into your account. She also said that over time, as you continue to submit receipts that qualify, my account will receive more of the offers. So, newbies to the Checkout 51 website shouldn’t count on all offers shown in rebate blogs.

My experience with Walgreen’s is that you cannot “roll over” any Catalina coupon for the SAME item as the system blocks a second generation of any Catalina coupon. To clarify, if you use the $2 Catalina coupon on another Scrubbing Bubbles purchase hoping to get another $2 coupon, it won’t work. My Walgreen’s confirmed what I just said.
