I send all my cards (birthday, holiday, etc) to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, 100 St. Jude’s Street, Boulder City, NV 89005. Supposedly, the kids themselves use old cards to make new ones to resell.
Just read your post on sending Christmas and other holiday cards to St. Jude’s Ranch in Boulder City. Are these new cards or ones that have been written on?
And are they still doing this? I have a bunch of new cards, never used and would like them to be put to good use.
Thank you Crystal!
What a wonderful idea. Thanks!!
Love this idea…we did it as kids too…and love Kami’s great blog!
I do this! Saves money and trees! =)
I’ve been doing this since I was a kid, with any sort of decorative pinking shears and that cheapo multi-color spool of ribbon that comes out around the holidays. In fact, I just finished this year’s round of tags this weekend. It’s a great project for kids (slightly older kids, of course).
