And since SO many of you loved the honest review I did of the productivity bundle last month, I plan to do another honest review with my favorite resources in the next couple of days! So stay tuned for that!
But if you’re ready to buy before hearing my honest review, just click the link below!
looks like a lot of great resources, not financially going to work for me, but
awesome!!!
I had to laugh when I saw “trying to be more intentional with your money?” followed by something to buy!
I highly recommend Dave Ramsey’s total money makeover – you don’t necessarily need the book, but he offers all the steps and tons more info for FREE online.
Usually when I buy anything else regarding saving money, it’s a total waste of time, with not much new information.
So I say if you’re REALLY trying to be intentional with your money, save your $37. If you want a book, but TMMO or even Money Saving Mom’s Budget (which is very similar in principles to TMMO) and maybe do Crystals 31 days to a better grocery budget challenge or something. If you want less typical ideas then check out Mr. Money Mustache or Early Retirement Extreme (you don’t have to want to retire early to pick up some new tips!).
Just to clarify, this is more about being intentional with your money then about saving money… though it does talk about that, too. But it’s more for people who want something more than a book, really want some hands-on help for budgeting, investing, retirement, etc. and don’t want to spend $$ for Dave Ramsey’s live events or his Financial Peace University (though I totally think they can be worth it!).
I don’t typically share deals like this, but we’ve had a lot of requests for this type of thing recently from people who are feeling overwhelmed, so instead of just telling people to go to articles or google things, I wanted to give people a resource that could provide a lot of value.
I’ll be sharing a very honest review with my thoughts on it + my favorite resources tomorrow. Stay tuned for that!
I’m waiting to see what you have to say before putting out my money. Thanks for doing the review.
You never know what approach may help one person over another. We’ve been through Dave Ramsey’s FPU, but we’re getting bogged down with the envelope system, which we’ve used for years. I’m hopeful another viewpoint or method will help us out.
