Interested in non-toxic household cleaning options? Check out this deal on Truman’s Household Cleaners!!

Truman's Starter Kit

Have you heard of Truman’s? It’s a relatively new subscription service that delivers non-toxic household cleaners to your doorstep!

Each Truman’s delivery includes four different cleaners for your kitchen, floors, bathroom, and glass surfaces. (And the kitchen spray is also an all-purpose cleaner!)

You receive the spray bottles and cleaners on your very first delivery and then cleaner refill cartridges on each subsequent delivery. Each delivery of cleaners should last you 6 months, but you can pause, skip, cancel, or change your subscription at any time.

And right now you can get your first subscription for just $5 shipped with code SUB5 at checkout. Here’s how:

  1. Head over to this page.
  2. Click on “Get Your Starter Kit.”
  3. Choose the $15 option. When you choose this option, you’ll be signed up for automatic subscriptions but you can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time after your first order ships out.
  4. Click through to checkout.
  5. On the page where you enter all of your information, look on the right side of the page where it says “Have a discount code? Enter it here.” Use code SUB5 to get 50% off!
  6. You’ll pay just $5 and shipping is FREE.

Note: After 45 days, you’ll be automatically charged for a 6-month supply of cleaners — which is a $60 charge for four-packs of each of the four cleaners. If you don’t want to get charged $60 to continue with your subscription after your $5 box, just be sure to cancel before your 45-day trial is up!

This seems really cool! Have any of you tried it yet? I’d love to hear in the comments!

I jumped on this deal, received my supplies, and have loved them! What a genius idea. They smell good and clean great! I love been so happy with the products and customer service.

Just ordered my starter kit. EVERYONE should note that subsequent deliveries are $15/type of cleaner. So each subsequent delivery is actually $60/not $15, unless you cancel/alter your order within 45 days of your starter kit.

I would contact their costumer service. Their landing page says it is $15 for a 4 pack of refills with the subscription or $18 for a 4 pack refill without the subscription. You can click here to go to the page I am talking about. I hope that helps! -Jordan, MSM Team

Thanks Jordan, I reached out to them to confirm. You are charged $60 for refills on the subscription program after the 45days. They send a total of 16 refill cartridges (4 of each type). He said they are working on offering smaller quantities for refill orders in the future. They did send me a discount code after I ordered my starter kit that I could apply to my next order, that would bring the cost down to $42 for the first refill order.

Oh, wow! You’re right! I just looked at the FAQ and saw that. Their wording is really tricky, because we definitely did NOT notice that the last few times we posted. Thank you so much for pointing that out! I just updated our post. -Meg, MSM Team

I bought this deal last time you posted about it. It’s great for a 1 time purchase but it’s an expensive product to continue with. I also disagree with the starter kit lasting 45 days. My kitchen cleaner was gone in less than 2 weeks with just normal cleaning and we’re not a terribly grubby family. A $5+ bottle of cleaner/ twice a month is pretty spendy!
