Target offers a deal for New Baby Registries. Sign-up and then you can stop by your local Target’s guest services desk to collect $50 worth of coupons and free samples.

I’m pregnant with our second, and while there are very few things we truly need to purchase, I created registries at both Target and Babies R Us. You get a welcome gift for starting one at both places with coupons and samples (a few diapers, wipes, paci, bottle, etc). But more importantly, I’m putting tons of diapers on my target registry. I’ll wait until there’s a great diaper sale after the baby is here and add the completion bonus coupon on to get an extra 15% off a ton of diapers for our little man.

At Babies R Us, you earn rewards in the form of gift cards based on what’s purchased off the registry. By buying our double stroller myself from the registry, I’ll earn an extra $7ish dollars in rewards. Small, but it adds up. (And I wish I could find a used stroller, but haven’t had luck!)

I just wanted to chime in here, since I recently picked up my baby registry gift bag from Target. FYI, $25 of the $50 value is a coupon for Target photo birth announcements, and mine expires within a few months – way before my due date, so there is no way I can actually use it for birth announcements! It also has a Pampers rewards code that didn’t work and some coupons that expired within a couple of weeks. I don’t know if they are like this at all stores, but if I were to do it again, I’d wait until much closer to my due date to make sure I can get more use out of the coupons, particularly the one for the birth announcements. I might request one at customer service closer to that time. I am definitely looking forward to the registry completion discount!
