Target 70% off Toy Clearance Starts Today!

Want to stock your gift closet or shop ahead for Christmas gifts? Then you’ll want to head to Target as soon as possible as their 70% off Toy Clearance starts today… and it will probably be all picked over by tomorrow.

Check out what Jessica got this morning on her blog here. She called me this morning telling me I must get myself to Target and that it was the best Toy Clearance Sale she thinks she’s seen so far.

She knows what she’s talking about as she’s a Target Clearance Shopping Ninja so you’ll want to definitely check this sale out. We’re not huge toy people here (my kids are more into LEGOs, reading, or art projects), but I was excited about the Melissa & Doug art kits and game deals!

If you go to Target, let us know what deals you find!

And Target is just down the street from where I am sitting…tempting! Might have to swing by on my way out of town. My children are past the age of toys but this might be a great way to pick up toys to give away to charity at Christmas time.

  • Christine says:

Hardly any toys 70% off at Target in Mount Laurel, NJ. This store no longer marks all toys down at the same time. Toys are marked down sporadically making it difficult to get a good deal. As of today there were not many toys marked down at all. I think they are trying to avoid people wiping out the shelves and selling toys online or in their own stores.

  • Karen G. says:

Arrgghh! I knew it! I was at Target yesterday and the toys were reduced to 50% off. As I was buying them, a little voice in my head said “I bet they go down to 70% tomorrow”. Oh well, I feel like I still got a deal and it would be more in gas to go and get a price adjustment.

    • Sabrina Lawrence says:

Target will refund you the difference if prices change within a week, I believe- just take your receipt back in if worth it for the savings!

I checked my target and not 70% off yet but will be going to a different store tonight!

  • Diana says:

Our best deals were Barbie’s for $1.78 and A Brave Toddler doll for $5.48….Lots of Melissa and Doug items for $1.48-$2.08.

  • LG says:

This deal is at Canadian targets too! I found a couple good stocking stuffers and a couple small things for my niece and nephew. My kids are too big for most of the stuff!

  • Brittany says:

Went to my local Target today and unfortunately, no toys were on clearance! Hopefully our store will jump on this soon!

  • Grammy says:

I found great deals. Spent $70 at one Target, then $50 at our other Target. All 70% off. Birthdays & Christmas done for my 6 grandsweeties under 5yo.

  • Tori says:

Just got back from ours! Got some great deals, best part of course being that (at least at our store) toys are buy one get one 40% off! This worked with the clearance toys as well. Got 10 things for $21!

My store in central Michigan dropped to 70% this morning. I did a good portion of my Christmas shopping and stocked up the gift closet. My store had a lot of Barbies, Disney Princess, and Leap Frog toys on clearance. I got about $270 retail value for about $81.

  • Kristian says:

Went today, and was able to get quite a bit. Sadly, no Melissa and Doug left, but plenty of others.

Also helps that all toys are buy 1 get 40% here as well, so I was super happy!

Went today over lunch and virtually everything was already gone. The Lego shelf was wiped clean. People buy those, pull out the minifigures and sell them alone on Ebay for a bunch of money. I’ve yet to get a deal on Lego. I did get a HUGE Darth Vader marked down to $8.98. I’m planning a Star Wars themed party in September for my son so this will be a gift and a decoration in one! I also managed to get a few puzzles for very little money. Will send one to my grandmother – just a pick me up as she’s been struggling since losing my grandfather in April. Also have an Uncle in the hospital so I’ll send one to him too. Got a Life Fame edition for $7; Xmas gift. A few cute wooden puzzles for little ones for $1.48. Those are for charity shoe boxes. Happy to get a few things at least!

    • Pam says:

I also picked up a 100 piece puzzle. It was a good deal for $1.18. What a great idea! I think I’ll send it to my grandma. Always nice to get fun mail. It has cute little fuzzy ducks. 🙂

  • We are big into art too. I gave the kids each a M&D craft to do this morning and they happily painted for an hour. Good use of $2 craft kits! 🙂

  • Pam says:

Thanks for the heads up on the clearance sale. Found some Nanoblocks sets for my daughter ($3.48-$5.98) and a selection of Air Hogs remote control helicopters and vehicles ($7.98-10.98). Also a few odds and ends for stockings. But sadly no Legos. 🙂 But thanks for helping me Christmas shop!

  • Maria says:

Just left target and I sure did get quite a bit of toys for under $50. From transformers to batman some Melissa and Doug and a neon doodle art set.

  • heather says:

I just found a couple little shelves of toy clearance at my store, not at all what people are describing. does this mean I can expect more markdowns in the next few days?

  • Suzanne says:

Thanks so much for this tip! My daughter’s birthday is in a few weeks and I got all her birthday presents yesterday! Every single item I got her was 70% off!!! I can’t wait for her to open her gifts and see her sweet face. Never could have afforded all this at retail price. Also got some great gifts for my boys for the future and a few items I bought for any birthday parties we get invited to. This sale was a huge blessing!!

  • Sarah says:

    I got a $40 Lego City set for $19.99 – score!

  • Kate SDDS says:

I was so excited! I bought toys for my kids, my niece, and also found some ‘nano bricks’ – like teensie tiny lego sets that are SUPER expensive marked 70% off – I think they are going to be awesome for Operation Christmas Child boxes =) some were as low as $2!
