Swagbucks Paid for our Carpet Cleaner

Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Lori:

I have been using Swagbucks for a few years now, but for much of that time, I wasn’t hardcore about it. I would watch a video here and there and get a few bucks a day for searching.

However, when I decided that I wanted to save up my Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards to purchase a carpet cleaner, I decided to invest at least one hour a day into it, sometimes even more time at night when the kids were in bed.

Some of the fastest ways to earn Swagbucks were:

  • Complete Surveys – I would aim to complete one or two a day. Most surveys are worth at least 50 Swagbucks.
  • Swagbucks Mobile TV – I downloaded the app on my smartphone and would run the mobile tv until I reached my daily 50 points limit.
  • Watch Swagbucks TV – I would watch videos at night.
  • Print all coupons from coupons.com thru Swagbucks – you earn 10 bucks every time a coupon is redeemed.
  • Daily Meter Goal – Swagbucks has a reward program where you have a daily goal and if you meet that goal daily for a week, a month, etc, you earn an extra bonus. For example, if I met my daily goal 30 days in a row, I would earn a monthly bonus of 300-500 extra Swagbucks.

There are so many ways to earn on Swagbucks and with putting in an hour every day, it didn’t take me long to earn enough to pay for our brand-new carpet cleaner!

This year, I am saving up for Christmas — my goal is to not spend any money on Christmas gifts!

Swagbucks Paid for our Google Nexus Tablet

Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Laura:

I’m a stay-at-home mom to three precious, busy boys under age five. My husband works hard to provide financially for our family. He does not buy things for himself very often, so I really wanted to surprise him with something special last Christmas.

I knew that he would love to have a tablet, but there was no room for such a large purchase in our gift budget. I could not do any work outside of the home while caring for our boys, so I had to get creative.

I’ve enjoyed using Swagbucks for several years, but I normally just earned a small gift card every month for using the search engine and occasionally entering codes. My brother started using Swagbucks surveys, and he was raving about the ability to earn lots of extra Swagbucks through the program. Several months before Christmas, I decided to give it a try.

I completed surveys during naptime or while my husband and I were relaxing and watching television in the evenings. I chose to cash out my Swagbucks for Paypal deposits, and by Christmas, I had earned enough to purchase a 32 GB Google Nexus tablet from eBay!

My husband was completely surprised and thrilled with his gift. He is now active on Swagbucks, too, and he uses his tablet to complete surveys and earn extra gift cards and Paypal cash for our family.

Swagbucks Paid for Our Cloth Diapers

Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Carmen:

I have been an avid user of Swagbucks for the past four years, saving up my points and always cashing them in for Amazon gift cards. This perk came in handy recently as I saved my codes for a couple of months (cashing in enough each month to get the $25 of Amazon gift cards) to purchase a cloth-diaper stash for my now-newborn daughter.

I’d always known that I wanted to cloth-diaper my children, and after doing a lot of research before she was born, I found all the essentials could be found on Amazon.com. I picked out six diaper covers (Thirsties brand) and two dozen high-quality, unbleached prefolds.

On Amazon you can make a baby registry and once your due date draws near, they email you a code to get 10% off any remaining items on your registry. That discount alone made for a great deal, but since I’d saved up my Swagbucks, the deal only got sweeter. I was able to get my daughter’s cloth diapers (and some cloth-diaper friendly laundry detergent, too!) for absolutely nothing out of pocket!

It took a couple of months to save up enough of the codes to cash them all in, but it was worth the wait because now I don’t have the dreaded cost of disposable diapers. (Not to mention my daughter sure looks cute in the cloth diapers!) All it took was simply switching my search engine!

Carmen is a brand-new mom to three-month-old Claire. She blogs about these early days of parenthood (turns out it’s a lot harder than it looks!), her faith, marriage and more at Life Blessons.

Swagbucks Paid for My Pressure Canner

Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Becky:

I love Swagbucks! Not only has it helped us pay for 3 Christmases, it also helped me purchase my (normally over $100) pressure canner for just $6!

I have used my Pressure Canner hundreds of times now — it’s amazing. I know what’s going in those jars, and by utilizing sale prices on fruits, veggies and meat, I’m able to save hundreds and make healthier food for my family.

I am currently saving for a steam juicer. I can use it to preserve my own fruit juices to easily make jellies and jams.

My 2 favorite ways to earn extra Swagbucks are:

  • The short videos — they are easy for stay-at-home-moms to watch when I only have a minute or two — and the 1 or 2 bucks that I get for each video really add up during the course of the day.
  • The toolbar and search feature — it’s right there, and it’s easy to use.

Of all the online rewards programs I’ve ever tried, this one is the best and the easiest for me. I love Swagbucks, and am so glad I was referred to it.

Swagbucks Helped Pay for Our Wedding!

Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Kacie:

I introduced my (now) husband to Swagbucks when we first started dating.

One day we were joking around and talked about how cool it would be if we could save up enough Swagbucks to pay for our wedding. Even though we knew that we would never be able to pay some of our vendors in Swagbucks, we made a list of all of the things we could buy using them and how many we would need to earn to purchase those items.

We gave it all we could over the 9 months we were engaged and eventually saved up enough to pay for all of the gifts for our wedding party as well as some extra odds and ends. It definitely helped cut out a chunk of our wedding budget! We’ve been going strong with the Swagbucks ever since!
