My Goals For This Week (back on the goal-setting bandwagon!)

I took the last few weeks off from setting goals as we were adjusting to life with the sweet newborn baby we are fostering. He needs a lot of extra time and care because of some health issues, so I just focused on loving on him and finding a groove.

I feel like we really have gotten into a good groove and I decided to jump back on the goal-setting train this week — even though I’m 38 1/2 weeks pregnant and moving pretty slow as a result! 🙂

Here’s an update on how I did on my goals from the week of March 30, 2020:

My 6 Goals for This Week

Welp, I don’t have much to report when it comes to progress on my goals from last week. But I did spend all day/night Tuesday and Wednesday at the hospital practicing caring for Champ (our little preemie baby boy whom we’re fostering) under the watchful eye of the nurses.

We were cleared for his release on Wednesday night and the rest of the week/weekend has been a whirlwind of adjusting to feeding him every 3 hours around the clock (and learning how to function on less sleep!), getting into the groove of having a newborn again, and figuring out our new normal.

Here’s my goals list from last week:

You can see a little peek into our week last week here. It was quite the week! The kids are all home from school for at least the next week and a half, likely longer and everything else is cancelled.
