Sunday Chicken Dinner in the Slow Cooker (+ something to make you laugh!)

I am loving hearing from so many of you who have signed up for the Eat at Home Menu Plan Service and love it! Here’s one comment I got on Facebook this weekend:

You guys! The Eat at Home menu plan service is just hands down the best menu plan service I’ve ever tried!

4 Reasons I Love Eat at Home Menu Plan Service:

  1. You get 4 complete menu plans each week. Yes, you get 4 different menu plans! (A No Flour/No Sugar plan, a Slow Cooker Menu Plan, a Traditional Menu plan, and a Traditional Wholesome menu plan –each with 6 dinners + one dessert. That’s 24 recipes total… every single week!)
  2. You can make the Slow Cooker meals in less than 15 minutes. Most of the Slow Cooker meals only require 5-10 minutes of work in the mornings — and then dinner is DONE! It’s amazing to know all day long that you already have a plan for dinner and it is made and waiting!
  3. You get a Color-Coded Grocery List — for each separate menu plan. Plus, you get to choose between a Small Family or a Large Family plan for each menu plan and the grocery list is all prepped for you. Just print it, cross off any item you already have on hand, and go shop! So simple!
  4. You only pay a few dollars (or less!) per week! You get all of this — the menus + the pre-made grocery lists for each menu plan for as low as $1.13 per week when you use coupon code FALL at checkout and sign up in the next 48 hours. And you lock in that rate for as long as you’re a member!

What I Made Today

This morning, I made Sunday Chicken Dinner in the Slow Cooker. It was so easy and smells good!

By the way, Friday’s recipe was yummy, too, and was perfect to eat after we did 10 miles and 23 obstacles as part of the Tough Mudder.

I laughed when I saw the photo that Facebook pulled as the cover photo for my video. I mean what even?? I could change it, but I thought it might make you laugh, too, so I’m keeping it! 🙂

Click to watch the video above for all of the details on the recipe and to see me make it LIVE!

Remember: get 30% off your membership every single month when you sign up by September 19, 2018 and use coupon code FALL at checkout.

I’ve been on the fence about trying this because I’ve done several meal services and liked them but got bored. BUT…with the FALL code, I just signed up to try it.

Your picture made me laugh. That’s how I feel when people tag me in photos. Is it possible you could have found a less flattering photo? HA!

  • Laura says:

That is a hilarious photo! You have a sense of humor to keep it.

  • Taran says:

OMG that thumbnail is the best ever!!!

  • Emily says:

If they ever come up with a vegetarian option I’m sold.

  • JJ says:

    I LOVE this picture!!!

  • Amy McGraw says:

I just signed up for the meal planning service and I’m beyond excited!!! This has always been my most challenging part of weekly meal planning. Thank you for the information and coupon code!!!

  • Paula says:

You are so hideously ugly, there are no words. Only a closeted- gay loser like your “husband” would think you look good. You are a literal bag of bones scarecrow with a horse tail for hair, bad skin, crooked teeth and a gross flat chest. Are you a woman or a teen boy?

    • TL: I know your name is not Paula or the many other names you have used to write the many unkind and untruthful comments you have written here in recent weeks. I know who you are and it makes me so sad that someone I used to consider a good friend when I was a teenager would spend so much time writing the comments you have written. I usually just delete them, but recently, I felt like it was time I say something.

Based upon the comments, it’s clear to me that visiting this blog is very upsetting to you and isn’t something that brings life or hope or positive help to you. I’d like to gently ask that you take some time away from my blog to consider why it’s so upsetting to you.

I know you’ve said many times in comments that you don’t like my blog and plan to unsubscribe. I’d like to encourage you to go ahead and do that and look for other blogs that would better serve you. Please know that I think of and pray for you often and pray that you’re able to find good friends and encouragement and joy right where you are in life. I’ll always be grateful for the friendship we had as teenagers.

I Just was browsing through comments to see what people said about this meal planning service. I just wanted to comment that your response to this brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for showing grace in the face of ugly hate. I needed this. As weird as that sounds.

      • Laura Smith says:

This response to hate is Jesus…showing up and loving them despite the ugliness. This makes me proud to be a fellow sister in Christ. As Bob Goff says “everybody always”. ?

    • sharlene caisse says:

(Paula) why would you choose to post something so hateful. This women is so kind and wonderful. She is beautiful inside and out in so many ways. She lives her life with grace and purpose. Please learn from her example.

  • Cheryl says:

SO true and a lesson to pass on to your children. You may not know what another person is going through that may cause them to say or post hurtful thing.

    • Dana says:

Um wow – your comment amazed me, Crystal. It makes me especially sad that it sounds like this person personally knows you. To Him be the glory from the grace you have because of your relationship with Christ. I’m in Texas, praying alongside you….for your friend. May grace and love abide. May you be blessed. May this friend from the past be healed from their hurt…..whatever it may be. God’s blessings to you and all.
