Tanya, I missed the start of things here due to a family crisis and I am wondering if you can help me out with this. I just e-mailed you through your website. Thanks! Sybil
I wanted to sign up tonight 🙁 I’m super bummed because I saw that I had 4 days to sign up and now it looks like I only had two.
Hi, other Amanda. I saw that too, but when i added it to the cart it was 99 cents.
I’d also like to sign up for the 99cent deal but it doesn’t seem to be available. The post said the offer is good for 4 days and the it was posted on 1/3/15 so shouldn’t the deal be good till 1/7/15? I saw a comment that said the deal ended on 1/5/15 that’s not 4 days from when the offer was posted. Can someone assist please? Thanks.
I thought the class was 99 cent only. I clicked on link to sign-up, but it’s showing up for $25. According to the post, the 99 cent special will be available for four days from Jan 3 and it’s Jan 5. Can someone help me? I really wanted to sign-up. Thanks
The $0.99 special ended at 11:59pm on the 5th of January.
Myra, I just signed up tonight (1/6) and my cost was only $0.99. Above the button that said Add to Cart the price showed $25.00. After clicking on the button the next page that came up showed the cost was only $0.99.
This may seem silly, but what if you don’t have a name yet?? Can you start with something and change it?? Do you need to purchase your domain name before you connect with the hosting?? Can you hold off on starting your hosting?? I just checked out some library books to start learning, but am hesitant at jumping in 🙂
Sarah – great questions! First, you don’t have to set up the hosting at the beginning on the class so you can wait until the end when you have a better idea for a name. Or, yes, you can always change the name in the future, too!
I ordered this last night but have not seen anything in my email. Should I have something now, or do we get materials closer to when class starts on Tuesday? Thank you!
Stephanie, we’ll be emailing out the class access info on Tuesday – if you don’t hear anything, please shoot me an email!
I participated in Tanya’s October event and it was wonderful. I went from overwhelmed to getting it a blog up and going. I am still overwhelmed, but I do a little everyday. I look at is as continuous improvement.
i loved this class. I took it in October and it got me onto the right path. I have a lot to learn still, this was a great place to start.
Thank you SO much for the kind comment, Laura – I’m so glad the class was helpful!
I am so excited to have run across this deal! But not for me, for my husband. He’s a guy’s guy with a guy’s idea in mind for a blog. Would this be good for him, or is the course geared more towards women?
Jessica, – great question! I think he could definitely still benefit from the class. While we do specifically target moms with our promotions, we have had several guys take the class and still benefit from the info shared. The information we share in the class can be applied to any blog topic or niche.
As always, too, if he takes the class and feels it wasn’t a good fit, we offer a full refund option.
Hope that helps!
This is a great deal that I would love to do, but I know that other than the first week I will not be able to do the live sessions.
Jessica – we do send out the class recording each week, for those who can’t make it. Otherwise, we do plan to offer the class again in February – so if that month would work better for you, please just send me an email after you purchase the class!
Wow I’m so excited about this! Just have to check with my husband about the timing…unfortunately 5-6pm PST is right at dinnertime for us. I think we can make it work for a couple weeks though 🙂
We would love to have you, Ellen! 🙂
Is it over on the 6th or 7th? I get paid on the 7th and could do it!
Penny, the deal actually ends at 11:59pm on the fifth so we can get everyone in for class on the sixth. 🙂
I paid through Paypal, but haven’t gotten the link. It is supposed to be emailed at a later time or is it automatic when you sign up?
I’d email Blogelina directly to ask as I’m not sure.
Thank you, I will check with them.
Tracy, please shoot me an email and we will look into this ASAP!
I’m thinking its the four weeks of January starting this next week. Not for sure though.
Anyone know when this class starts?
The January class starts on the sixth and runs Tuesday’s from 8-9pm EST for the month of January.
Sounds like a good class. Does anyone have any personal experience taking this class?
I took it in 2012. It was mostly positive and I met so many great bloggers through it – meeting them was the best part. The one down side was leaving Blogger and switching to WordPress, or to paid hosting of WordPress w/ Go Daddy. That first year goes fast and then it costs $ to renew. I just renewed my domain name and web hosting and it cost me $97 for the year. My reality is that I don’t drive enough traffic to make a big profit off ads, affiliate links, etc. on my blog so the hosting $ is a bit of a bummer each year. You can still take the class and see if making the switch makes sense to you and your situation. Hope that helps!
I just wanted to jump in here and comment that the hosting is completely optional with the class. We highly recommend that you be on your own hosting and not a free platform if you really want to blog for profit but it’s not a requirement for the class.
Also, if you use the hosting for a year and dont want to continue it, you can move to the free wordpress.com at that point, switch to another host, or do nothing and the hosting expires. You’re not locked into anything!
Katy, if you’d rather not keep up with the hosting fees, moving to wordpress.com or back to blogger are definite options!
Hope this helps!
Hi Tanya,
Does Blogelina have resources about how to switch back? I’d be interested to learn more about that, but I freely admit the tech stuff is always way over my head and I’d be very nervous to do it myself for fear I’d lose something or mess it up. Kinda like I’d be very nervous to move hosting companies in an effort to save money (or move to CPanel as GoDaddy suggested this year?) as I don’t have any idea how to do that.
Thanks!
Sure! If you can email me here, I’ll get you some helpful info!

I left a comment here a bit ago and don’t see it so hopefully this isn’t a duplicate…
The hosting offer that comes with the class is completely optional. It’s a great deal but nothing you are required to do in order to take the class. Also, after the free year is up, you are not locked into continuing it. You can move your bog to a free (and more limited) platform like wordpress.com or Blogger at that point, switch hosting companies, or just do nothing and the hosting will just expire. There are really no strings attached!
If anyone has further questions, please let me know!
I took it in October. I didn’t have a ton of time for the live classes, BUT the free hosting for a year is an INCREDIBLE deal! It’s well worth the 99 cents. 🙂
Thanks, Ronni – I’m glad this was helpful! 🙂
It seems to be working now. I’d try it again. 🙂
Once I get to the site, It will not let me click on the, “add to cart” button. : /
Were you able to get this working? Please let me know if not!
