Do you want to get up earlier and make the most of your mornings? If so, go sign up for the FREE 10-Day Rise & Shine Challenge from The Abundant Mama.
The challenge starts August 18, 2014. I’m all signed up and I’m thinking of blogging through the challenge to help us start our Fall schedule off on the right foot. Want to join me?

I am reading Pursue the Intentional Life, by Jean Fleming because of a post on msm. It’s awesome. I see that you have another book that you’re reading for devotional purposes. It’s yellow and the title says something about Love and has a word that starts with ID. I can’t read the whole title because Pursue the Intentional Life is lying on top of it in the picture. Please tell me the title and author of that book so that I can request it at the library. Thank you.

It’s Love Idol. I finished both of these a little while ago and they are both excellent!

I just found out about this and would love to give it a shot. Does anyone know if it’s too late to join?
Yadira says
Hi! I signed up for this challenge, confirmed my email. However I have yet to receive any emails from them.
Could you tell me where I could find the challenges? Sorry to big you about it. I know it’s not your site, but I can’t find it.
Crystal Paine says
I’d recommend emailing The Abundant Mama about it. I don’t think that you can access the challenges online, unfortunately.

This is perfect timing for me! I go back to my 2nd job next week (teachers aid) and need to get start getting up early again. Doing the challenge, along with reading Andy Traub’s Early to Rise, should really help!

I can’t sign up… webpage not there…

I’m in. Just when I got past the newborn phase and started getting up early, we all got sick. Twice. Then I was getting back into a routine and the last week my 3-year-old started getting up 90 minutes earlier than she EVER gets up. I can use the encouragement to keep trying to get it!
Jamie says
I’ve been going back and doing your “make the most of your mornings” 3 week challenge with some friends, but could always use more encouragement! Just signed up!

I’m in. Challenges are a great way to get a new habit started, and it’s just the right time. I hope to get some friends to join me, but if you are blogging about it, at least I can comment here. 🙂

I would love to do this, but I find that when I try to wake up before everyone else, at least one of my children also wakes up. It doesn’t matter how quiet I am. Does this happen to anyone else? Any suggestions for me?
Maria says
I have an older 3 year old and 8 year old. The older one doesn’t get up that early as often anymore. I can tell you what I do, depending on what I’m doing when they get up. It might not help, though it might give you something to ‘bounce off.’ If they wake up before I do, though late enough that trying to get them back into their own bed will wake me up too much (4am-7am timeframe), they can snuggle in with me for a bit. If I’m doing my Bible reading, they can sit quietly in my lap or read a book next to me. If I’m doing an exercise video, they can join in and try to exercise, or they sit and watch. If I’m cleaning the bathroom/taking a shower/getting dressed, they get dressed or get a cup of yogurt to eat while they wait. If things are running a bit late, whoever is awake gets the task of waking everyone else up.

Signed up! I have been wanting to get up earlier and make a routine but just haven’t done it because I go to bed too late. Hopefully this will help since school starts soon.
Kim says
Just what I need. It is towards the end of Winter here in Australia, so mornings will be dark and cold – but I will be ready for tree day!!
Asheritah says
I’m signed up! Mornings and I–not good friends. But I keep hearing it’s the most productive time, so I want to give it a shot. I can use all the help I can get. 🙂
Crystal Paine says
Let’s DO this! 🙂
Jennifer says
No, I don’t think I want to join you but I appreciate you extending the invitation 🙂

I want to do this!!! I had wanted to get the Early To Rise Experience for Moms back when you did that podcast, but I accidentally deleted the email with the link for that book before I got a chance to download it, then I forgot about it. *ooops**
My bedtime/wakeup time keeps shifting later and later, and I was just thinking I needed some accountability with it. Thanks for posting about this!
Sonja says
Signed up!
Thanks for the push in the right direction! I needed this!
Lucy says
Thanks for sharing this! I’ve been getting up early and felt silly because I couldn’t figure out what to do with myself. This is so well timed.
brittney says
Great post and perfect timing for me. I’m trying to convince myself that I’m really a morning person and not a night owl. Once I get up I’m good to go but its the act of convincing myself to get out of the bed that is hard for me. I’m excited to try this challenge.

Hi! I am trying to click on the link and it keeps telling me “webpage not available”. I tried refreshing my internet and even typing in the website manually. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks!
Kelly says
I am having the same problem.
Misty Nicole Overstreet-Roberts (The Lady Prefers To Save) says
I tried for half an hour on both Chrome and Explorer on my lunch-break, and would not get either to work!
Erin says
It isn’t letting me upload either
Sonya says
On my way to sign-up! I need to start walking up early to make sure I have time to blog before we start our homeschool lessons each day. Since it is time for us to start back to homeschooling.

Just signed up! Looks like a good blog to follow also! Last time you blogged about having a morning routine I started one and it has been so life changing! I’m just doing household chores but it’s freeing up so much time just getting them over with. I haven’t ventured to getting up before the household though so hopefully this will help me do that. I really want to incorporate some devotional time into my mornings. Looking forward to following along with the challenge by abundant mama and here if you blog about it too!

Sounds fun…. I’ve started rising early again now that my morning sickness is abating. I’m in!

I just signed up and I’m going to share on my FB page too!
