How did YOU save today?
I got my order in from ePantry! I’m so excited that I was able to take advantage of such a great deal on Mrs. Meyer’s soaps.
We LOVE Mrs. Meyer’s products and I’m always excited when I’m able to get a great deal on them! I especially love stretching the hand soaps by making homemade foaming hand soap.
I just have to say, I continue to be so impressed with ePantry. I’ve emailed with them a few times about different things and they’ve been so gracious, kind, and helpful. It makes me happy to hear reports that the rest of you are having great experiences with them, too!
Psst! Want to win a free box of Mrs. Meyer’s products? I’m giving two away over on my Instagram account. Head on over here and follow the two quick steps to enter to win.

My daughter needs snack every day for school, but buying those boxes of individual bags gets a bit pricey. Last week, I purchased 4 regular boxes of mini crackers for under $8 between sales and coupons. I was able to make 2 months worth of generously-portioned snack bags. I was overjoyed! $4 a month on a daily snack? Yes please!

Got my epantry order yesterday, I never dreamed that I could get so excited about cleaning products. I wrote them about a delay on Fedex’s end, and they credited my account with $5 for my patience.

I saved some money in the kitchen by making homemade breadcrumbs from leftover bread (bread which kids reject like the crust or bread ends:( ), shredding cheese myself instead of buying already shredded, also shredding carrots myself. I froze leftover waffles from dinner for quick snacks later. I also saved money on grocery shopping by shopping in 5 stores! Each store has deals on different things I needed and I also used coupons as well as I bought some things at the dollar tree. I am lucky in that I have several big stores close to my house so going to multiple stores does not require a lot of driving… ( I went to CVS, Publix, Dollar Tree, Aldi and Sprouts). Tonight I will have some friends over for homemade banana bread and coffee, definitely beats going out!

This weekend I am going to save by making an all-natural homemade fabric softener: white vinegar, water, and essential oil that I will spray on some old wash clothes that I will cut in half (Bounce is SO expensive even on sale and with coupons) AND I am going to make some homemade granola bars using a Runner’s World recipe with ingredients I have on hand 🙂

I’ll save money today by shopping at Aldi’s. It’s 40 minutes away, but on our way to church. Always combine errands to save gas money.
