Crystal, I meant no offense. I love your blog and probably should have put “j/k” after my “What?! Commercials?!” comment. Of course you would have sponsorship of the blog. I love that you are donating your proceeds to Compassion. You dazzle me with your generosity and with your servant’s heart.

No worries! I wasn’t offended at all! Your comment cracked me up. So all’s good. 🙂
I can only imagine the immense time and work that Crystal puts into this space.
I don’t begrudge any blogger using sponsors to help provide for her family and further her goals and giving.
We don’t really expect these gals to work full time hours (or more) for free, do we? 🙂
Jeff, Crystal has had a lot of posts about this issue. While I can’t speak for her, my family has found that by using cash for groceries we save much more than we would have earned through any cc rewards. This isn’t true for everyone, of course, but many folks have found that they spend less using cash. Hope that helps!
I know this blog is mostly for moms. However, I am still a reader of it and know my credit cards. 🙂 What would be your reasoning for using cash on groceries? I currently get 5% cash back on all grocery purchases.
What?! Commercials?!
🙂
I made myself read through them as an exercise in self-discipline and for the moms and children you’re helping through Compassion…. okay mostly for the moms and children.

Crystal, Three of my favorite bloggers have recently sold their sites or it appears that they have sold out. Hip2Save appears to have sold out as Collin never writes anything herself anymore, GetRichSlowly and TheSimpleDollar have recently made announcements that they have sold out. I have lost a lot of interest in them because they have lost or are losing their personality. I have even quit checking Hip2Save as it’s become so boring. I hope you hang on because YOU have the best site out there!
I’m curious to know how you found out that Colin sold hip2save.com. This used to be one of my most favorite websites but I too have noticed that it is not as interactive as it used to be. I noticed that Colin seems to be m.i.a. I noticed that she stopped making videos and did not seem to be participating in discussions. I no longer get up in the morning and check her website. For some reason it has gotten boring.
