If you text this, do you just get that set of coupons or do you get signed up for something? And do you get charged for it? I am hesitant to get things like this for fear getting into more than I was expecting.
Kristen says
You just get that set of coupons and there is no charge from Target but if you are charged for text messages on your cell phone plan, you will be charged for 1 text message. You can sign up for recurring coupons from Target as well.

How do u get so many if the same mobile coupon ? Mine goes away after one use ! Please let me know!!! Thanks!!
Kristen says
Hmm.. it shouldn’t go away. My phone is actually old and the bar code doesn’t show up on my phone. So I type the link into my browser and print out the coupon. Then I explain to the cashier how many items I’m buying that correspond to the mobile coupon. (They will only scan it once if you don’t tell them.) They will often take the coupon from me so I can’t use the others unless I argue with their supervisor (eh… no.) or re-print it. All of this should apply if you use your phone too… they should scan the barcode off of your phone… it shouldn’t disappear! Good Luck!

It should only allow one use, the URL will actually update to show “redeemed on mm/dd/yy” for each mobile coupon redeemed.
Kristen Donovan says
Yes, one use for each of the several coupons within one mobile coupon. If I re-print a mobile coupon, it’s because I saved it as a pdf to my computer. If I bring it to the cashier, I can’t reuse the coupons I’ve already used ($1 off veg, $1 of fruit, $1 off frozen item, $1 off market pantry item) but I can use it for the other coupons within that one mobile coupon that I haven’t used yet. Hopefully that makes sense!

I understand that there are multiple coupons on the same URL and each one can be used once. I think where people are getting confused is that we have seen so many posts using the “FRESH” set.
The cashier should not have to scan the barcode more than once per set of coupons though. When they scan mine, the POS screen shows “# coupons redeemed.” If I have additional sets of mobile coupons, the process repeats with those bar codes.
I also have an older phone, so I pull my mobile coupons up on my Ipod Touch before leaving the house. Each set stays open in it’s own browser tab even without a connection. That way I can show the screen to the cashier and have never been hassled. I have even had coupons not apply and the cashier manually took off $.
Kristen says
Yes you’re right on the cashier scanning once. I was thinking of when one doesn’t show up and I have to tell the cashier and they manually take it off. Sorry about that. Good tip on Ipod for people who have those. If I had one that would be great! I am always hassled with my print outs but the savings is worth it.
