This is a pretty rare discount and we only see it a couple times per year!!

KiwiCo is a monthly subscription service that offers kid’s educational projects, crafts, and activities on different themes. Each box contains 2-3 projects, all the materials to complete those projects, plus hands-on learning activities and more.

They now have seven different boxes to choose from for specific age ranges! These make great gift ideas for kids!

Our kids LOVE these subscription crates, and I highly recommend them! (You can read my completely honest KiwiCo review here.)

After your receive your first discounted box, you can decide whether or not to continue. If you choose not to continue, it’s really easy to cancel your subscription in your account settings.

I’ve been eyeing the KiwiCo box for the last week or so, and have started the checkout process on their website multiple times without checking out all the way. They sent an email reminder for a free trial box with just the shipping fee, so I finally signed up today for the Koala Crate (2-4 yrs old) for only the $4.95 shipping fee on the first box! I chose the 3 month subscription, so I’m hoping our daughters love it. If so, then I might be gifting a subscription to our nephew!

    • Jordan says:

Yay! We hope you all love it. Let us known your opinion after you’ve gotten your boxes! We love to hear feedback. -Jordan, MSM Team

I taught math and this company’s language (and math!) is very confusing and misleading, I am hoping you might be able to help.

60% off is for the first box on a monthly subscription, not the 3, 6 and 12 plans from what I am trying to figure out.

I went to Eureka for my son and looked at the pricing. It says “savings based on $29.95 per month” but when I do the math, the free box counts do not add up 4, 2, 1.

“savings based on $29.95 per month”

    $299.40 12 months: $239.95
    (4 Months FREE)
    $299.40 – (29.95×4) = $179.60

    $161.70 6 months: $119.95
    (2 Months FREE)
    $161.7 – (29.95×2) = $101.80

    $86.85 – 3 months: $59.95
    (1 Month FREE)
    $86.85 – $29.95 = $56.90

Even with the subscription plan box prices at $24.95, $26.95 and $28.95, respectively, still not getting all these “free boxes”. Wondering if I am missing something here and if you happen to have the answer. I tried emailing but can’t locate a customer service email or phone number on their website. Can you help figure out how I may reach them?

I looked around for a pricing disclaimer but the entire website seems vague with a lot of false advertising. Yikes!

    • Meg says:

Most of the boxes are priced at $19.95, so when you use the code to get 60% off, it makes them $7.98 shipped. I forgot they added those two newest boxes for older kids that are priced higher at $29.95, so I need to update the post to include that info. Sorry about that and thanks for that reminder. So the $19.95 box for one month will be $7.98, but the $29.95 boxes (like Eureka) will be $11.98. Hope that helps! -Meg, MSM Team

    • Kay says:

      $29.95 x 12 months = $359.40
      So $359.40 – ($29.95 x 4) = $239.60

      $29.95 x 6 months = $179.70
      So $179.70 – ($29.95 x 2) = $119.80

      $29.95 x 3 months = $89.85
      So $89.85 – $29.95 = $59.90

I think the first number they give is the usual cost for the subscription (you typically get a larger percentage off for longer subscriptions) and the second number is the current sale price.

  • Kathy Hahn says:

Thank you. Was able to get the older box for $11.98 to try 1 month.

  • S. says:

If you have used a past promotion and canceled after the first box, can you still do this deal? It wouldn’t be your “first” box. On another promotion, I saw you could do it for 6 of their lines, if that line hadn’t been shipped before to your household. Your promotion includes their 2 new line, which we haven’t tried.

    • Jordan says:

I think this is technically for brand new subscribers, so I’m not sure that this will work. You can always contact their customer support and check, though! -Jordan, MSM Team
