As one of my do-it-yourself projects for 2012, I planned to make English Muffins. However, after some blog commentors suggested I try English Muffin Bread instead, I checked it out and it looked much, much easier to make. I’m so glad I tried the recipe. It’s a winner. So easy to make, so frugal, and so good.
This recipe is one of our longtime family favorites. These muffins are so good and freeze so well. These also make a great dessert to add to a sack lunch. Just pull a frozen muffin out and stick it in a baggie in your sack lunch and by lunchtime, it’s all thawed and ready to eat.
These muffins are delicious and nutritious. When my friend, Angie, brought us some one day, I took one bite and knew they were winners. I adapted the original recipe to make it healthier, but if you’re not worrying about sugar or calories, the original recipe is really good. 🙂
This is our favorite freezer-friendly banana bread recipe. It’s especially yummy with some chocolate chips sprinkled into the batter!
January is always that time of year when everyone looks forward to that fresh start and a clean slate. We have hopes, aspirations, and dreams for a better year than the last. The year always begins with some enthusiastic ideas and hopefully some good planning. Well, how many of you have ever made a goal to eat healthier or lose weight? Have you hit your goal?
Reader Amy R. sent me this recipe and said “I wanted to share this recipe with you… It is definitely our family’s favorite bread. My husband calls them ‘Better than Olive Garden Breadsticks.'”
