Do you have a recipe for your ‘rice and beans with sliced avacado’ meal?
Thanks so much for this awesome food outlet!

I wanted to use the Birds Eye Recipe Ready coupon, but my Kroger will not let me use a coupon if it is more than the value of the item, even by the one cent that it is in this case! I guess I could risk it and try again but I have always been disappointed in the past. 🙁

Gretchen, If my memory is right, I am thinking you live in Wichita. I wondered if you ever go to Homeland in Haysville? It is only a few miles from Wichita. It is worth the trip…they double coupons up to and including $1. I walk out of there each week with about $70 or more in groceries for under $20…usually around $15!!!

Wow, I am so impressed. Great job on the detergent!

We are really lucky. Our milk is $1.59 at Aldi. This week I bought a whole cart full of food at Aldi for $31. Thankful for the great prices there, saves us a ton.

That hashbrown casserole looks so good! Thank you for sharing 🙂

I wish we had more options around here…Walmart, Price Cutter, Aldi & a couple of local (more expensive) grocery stores. I did some shopping at Aldi today & even there paid over $3 for a gallon of milk! BTW – I know the cardboard box was only $0.47, but you can get free boxes at the post office & the shipping is usually cheaper using a flat rate shipping carton vs your own box. I do love to see how you ladies combine sales, coupons, etc to get such good deals. Thanks for sharing.

I paid $1.98 for a gallon of whole milk today and $0.98 for a dozen eggs.

Wow, $2.98 for a gallon of milk? :/ Where I live it’s anywhere from $3.48 to $4.50. I normally buy milk 4 gallons at a time, milk takes up a lot of my grocery money. I wish we had a Dillons around here. Lol

Ouch!
I’m lucky … milk is relatively inexpensive where I live. This week I paid $2.19 per gallon. Our Kroger affiliate frequently has in-ad coupons for $1.25 for a half gallon, which I think is still a good price.

If you have a smartphone, the Ibotta app has a 50 cent rebate on 1 gallon of milk (any brand) at several stores including Dillon’s. You could add the app, then scan your receipt & bar code on the milk you already purchased (receipts are good for 7 days as long as the offer is still there).
Also, SavingStar.com has a 20% rebate on broccoli this week at Gerbes, which is a Kroger/Dillon’s store, & HyVee. You just load the offers you want on your store loyalty card. My Gerbes credits my SavingStar balance in 2 weeks. My HyVee credits my account in 2 days.

The All Detergent has $1 rebate on SavingStar.com too! I have a 50 cent profit coming on one bottle after the $1.50 e-coupon!! 🙂
