I am a night owl. I love to stay up and get things done after everyone has gone to bed. I hate getting out of bed but have no problem delaying getting there.
I think that as long as you make the time, it does not matter if it is in the morning or at night. I read, journal, fill out my gratitude journal and clean up the kitchen all before I go to sleep.

I think everyone has to do what works best for themselves and their family. Every few years I try once again to get up earlier and it always makes me cranky and my whole family suffers as a result. Have finally concluded that I put in a very full day as it is, and its better for me to be reasonably pleasant than to have one more hour in the day. I realize i need more sleep than my husband, and I had to quit feeling guilty that he gets up earlier. I could rationalize that I do have 9 children (5 still at home), but I don’t think that makes any difference ; I have always liked to sleep past 7. :).

I do not receive your blog in my e-mail anymore and since I did not unsubscribe, I am just wondering what happened. I do not think I am eligible for the freezer cookbook because I had already subscribed before you offered it.
Thank you
Virginia

But…….some of us are night owls who cannot sleep before one or two am. The happiest day in my life was when my children were old enough that they could get themselves off to school and kiss me on the way out the door. LOL

Thats so funny—My alarm clock goes off at 4:30AM but I’m usually awake by 3:30—Obviously, I’m a morning person….

If anyone starts feeling too zapped to get out of bed in the morning and is not getting refreshing sleep, consider having your iron and vitamin d levels checked. These can make a big difference. Adrenal fatigue can also contribute to the feeling of being unrested in the morning. Also have a thyroid panel done to rule out the possibility of a poorly functioning thyroid.

But sometimes it FEELS like rocket science!

Yes, but setting my alarm clock for AM instead of PM has proved almost as difficult as rocket science for me! Set the alarm clock and check it twice, that’s my new motto!

lol. Funny how having a baby will turn you into a morning person. Now, I have difficulty sleeping past 5:30 AM. I just got so used to being up for 4 AM feedings.
