Is it possible to be both a great mom and a great blogger? In Blog at Home Mom, Christin seeks to answer this question — and give you tips and tools to find a good rhythm in your home so that you can have time in your day to regularly blog.
I was honored to write the foreword for this book. In it, I share some of my own journey and struggles toward finding a healthy place where the blog blesses my mothering and my mothering blesses the blog.
Do note that this is more of a tip-styled ebook, with most of the chapters being written in blog format. In addition, much of the ebook was written for a Christian stay-at-home mom and most of her examples are homeschooling moms, so the contents won’t be as applicable to work-outside-the-home moms who are juggling a different kind of schedule.
That said, I think her thoughts on goal-setting for your blog are so important and I loved how she shared examples from many different moms on how they are finding time for blogging in the midst of full schedules. If you are currently a mom who would love to blog, but you’re struggling with wondering whether it’s possible — or the right thing for your family — I think you’ll find insight in the pages of this ebook.
