When I did my student teaching, every child in the room (2-3 year olds) had their own photo book for viewing whenever they liked. We filed them on the book case. They could share with their friends or when they were having a needy moment, we could sit down with them and talk about of the loving, familiar faces in their book. I’ve made them with inexpensive blank photo books bought on sale.

Such a wonderful idea!! I am going to make books with labelled pictures of family members! My husband’s side of the family all live so far away that visits are few and far between. This way my 2 & 3 year old will still “know” who they talk to on the phone and who they are when they see them!!

this is darling! and I love the name on the cover – “Noah”, which is my grandbaby’s name!

use caution with the plastic bags if your baby likes to chew on things..plastic bag pieces are choking hazards..using clear contact paper (results similar to laminating) can be a durable choice as well

For our baby’s first birthday we made her two little photo albums — “my busy day” and “my family and friends.” She *loves* them and looks at them constantly, pointing at people she knows and squealing. I think they’re her favourite presents, at less than $10 each.
